Excellent video. ideally removing tire from rim, and then painting inner sidewall is the best procedure. Short of the ability to remove tire off rim; you did a top shelf performance. Thanks for a most informative tutorial, and all the best.

I have a Husqvarna riding mower that the sidewall had a leak. Fix-a-flat worked for me. It has better foaming properties if you don't want to take the wheel off. Still holding air for me.

Tire boots for road bikes are amazing
It is a very large patch with kevlar strands In it that return the strength to the sidewall of the tire. I have found it works great for road vehicles
We used the same thing on my friends truck and then proceeded to air the tires way down for some crawling and the patch had stayed there.
Those road bike tire boots have to hold up to 120 psi so they are plenty strong enough
The only downside is that You do have to take the tire off to put it on the inside

I'm wondering if trimmed bicycle tube patches plus rubber cement glue would be good for side leaks like that?

I suspect that something like Slime will be a more permanent fix, since it has fibers and little grains of rubber that slowly build up in the hole to clog it like a drain.

Thank you for sharing! How’s that tire holding up now? Merry Christmas!

Held for a year. Started slow leak this fall from the same spot. Loses about 2psi per week. I can even see the sealer oozing out the side. Possibly a 2nd application would seal it for good. Happy New Year!

@@thecountrylivingproject3263 It is a temporary fix, cause when the sidewalls go, the rest will soon follow. The good news is that temporary can be a couple of years. 😁

Wonder if it will last through the season?
