Miasma Chronicles - Defeating The Collectors At Low Level (New Gun Reward) In Crook's Hollow

Get some Acid grenades + Sapling grenades to absorb some damage. Use emp abilities/powers.
Use shrinker for one of the miasma power upgrades.

I was so cautious when I first started playing with buying grenades, worried about not having $$s for good stuff later on but man I wish I had been a lot more liberal with buying them cause they make fights so much easier.

Ya me too, but they're so good. Mainly went the napalm route, but these collectors are fire immune. Acid I always neglected, and the armor reduction really makes it out shine napalm most of the time. There are some enemies that are immune to acid though.

@@ReveriesVideos Yeah for the Tree critters Napalm is my absolute go-to. I also can't believe I never though to put the shrink mod on the chain bolt. That is some genius level thinking!

3 or 4 bottles did it for me at lvl 8. No combat needed.

Hah nice, I thought about the bottle route, but I figured it might take a lot. Def cheaper than fighting them tho, as I did use 2 energy cells, 3 medipods, and 3 acid grenades = 1,050 plastic cost. Forgot that I used 2 energy cells, but didn't buy them.
