0:47 The "German" window is most of the European windows installed after 2000 (it's very convenient! The problem materializes in the form of people insisting they *want such a window in 2x2 m and why would be that a problem?* Could be awkward then🤪)

    That's actually an inaccurate translation.
Naturwissenschaften means "natural science", not just science.
German is usually a very "descriptive" language.
Gloves are like shoes you wear on your hands, hence they're called "hand-shoes".
"Wissenschaft" literally means "knowledge-craftsmanship" which is pretty cool if you ask me...

    3. Brussels is not in 1 of the 2 parts(north(Vlaanderen)/South(Wallonië)) but just a part on it's own

Ive also just recently noticed a nice relation of English and German. Like Thursday we call Donnerstag, Donner means thunder and Donar is the germanic god of thunder. Which means this day is the day of the thunder god and its meaning was actually kept in English even though the whole language shited and the word doesnt even sound alike anymore. They actually managed to bring their beliefs and its meaning to it over, which you can see easily to this day in the word! I think its pretty cool once you know about it because its survived for such a long time

6:27 The meme is wrong lmao
This should actually be Belgium (= The historical Southern Netherlands) and NOT the Netherlands (= The historical Northern Netherlands)
For starters the Netherlands were indeed under Spanish rule, but then they revolted, creating the Dutch republic and becoming independent. The Southern Netherlands on the other hand, or modern day Belgium, didn't and remained under Sapnish Catholic rule.
Second of all, the Netherlands were never under Austrian control. So this was just completely wrong. Again, it was Belgium that was under Austrian rule.
Third, in the greater First French Republic, the Netherlands weren't a part of France, this was, again, Belgium. So the meme is just confusing the Netherlands with Belgium I guess...

The Netherlands was part of France from 1607-1613. The Netherlands weren't wasn't immediately annexed by France, though. At first, the Netherlands was made a puppet state. Napoleon appointed is brother Louis as 'King of Holland', hoping that Louis would follow his commands. It turned out that Louis prioritised Dutch interests over Napoleon's. After that, the Netherlands made part of France.
