I love your Endless runs! It feels like Waves 21-35 are kind of the sweet spot where you really, truly get to enjoy your build, but also before enemies start scaling too out of control
i think part of the fun is to see how broken can you take the new curse mech, and endless gives you more time to build up, so i would continue into endless
I agree with that, I think the issue with it is that in some cases it gets repetetive. So here for example I went for endless because we can achieve silly numbers, but if I had e.g. 6 pistols, there is nothing fun to it for me. Sticks e.g. are also hilarious since the bonus damage per owned stick goes up, which now made me realize Baby with 24 cursed sticks IS A THING
@@DexTag In a case like this I would say, if you are enjoying a run then don't be afraid to go endless, if you think a run would be boring (for yourself) in endless, then don't worry about going endless. When you enjoy a run we do too

I'm definitely an Endless enjoyer. These videos usually still function well as Danger 5 completion guides, but seeing these builds get taken to their limit is just the icing on the cake, especially with the new crazy curse mechanics. Loving the frequent uploads by the way!
I'd say : if you want to go endless, go endless and if you don't feel, don't :) What i love in your videos is not to have a broken builb but the experimentation and theorycrafting around it. To be honest your contents are really unique. There isn't any other youtuber I have seen who takes every run to endless. I like that you do that but it is all up to you in the end.
I think it would be better if they toned down curse buffs, but bumped up chances to items to become cursed. Right now it's a bit of "fame or famine" mechanic.
For a build like this you want 100% attraction post wave 8. From wave 9 on, there is always material coming towards you due to the enemy volume. You actually get more procs that way, at a steady rate, because the material can't clump together.

Since you asked, im one of the wave 20 guys, i still watched it till the end. my opinion on the question posed if you should bring more wave 20 content and less endless, personally i am more interested in the wave 20 content, BUT i totally dont mind endless runs, since it is still lots of fun, even though i personally dont play it in endles. The most important thing for me as a "consumer of your content" is, that you enjoy the game, since that reflects on video and makes the videos realy enjoyable! If you want to focuss more on the wave 20 "consumers" you can do endless runs and when you buy an item that is purely for the endless run, it is more than enough to just point that out when you buy it and if you want to give a brief alternative buy that would have been best in the shop at the point. that helps wave 20 "consumers" and still enables you to play endless without limitting yourselfe. But i have noticed you have already done that type of comenting in the last few videos, so just carry on, enjoys the game and bring joy to everyone watching ! :) THX for your content, much apprechiated!

wave 20 is where the fun stuff and the crazy combos just barely start, so yes, endless for sure. Show us your mad german scientist side 😃 (And yes its an overused cliche, but as a fellow german I'm still allowed to use it^^ )
Endless is always so much more entertaining. As an aside I agree that curse needs to be adjusted otherwise every run after a certain point is going to be exactly the same minus the weapons. But every build after wave 20 will be 3 hooks (preferably cursed), the treasure map, The thing that lowers the shop price, and 6 cursed weapons doing insane damage. Doesn't matter what else you have unless you get bull rushed and 1 shot the rest of the game will just finding 4 perfect things to lock in the shop.
For this build, it might be better for you to avoid picking up so much material at once. Span it out for more quick fire. Also, try not to avoid picking up the chests and fruits lying around; they count. This goes against nearly every build for this game, but that’s the point. Enjoy your videos. Please keep it up.
I say that you build with the "normal" game in mind, unless you see something that will be VERY good for endless, but that you try endless regardless unless you just really don't feel like it for a particular build.
I love the Endless runs, but I think it should be up to you. If you're having fun with the run, go ahead! But if you're not liking the run, feel free to cut it off at wave 20!
i think you shouldnt look for the scaling numbers but the actual numbers on cursed red weapons, if im not mistaken most weapons get a huge base damage buff between purple and red
yeah, I like it when you go endless, I think it should be like this one. Here, you weren't planning for endless but you got past wave 20, because I feel like planning for either win on 20 or endless means they are boring but this way kept it exciting like it made me feel it could go either way and every round past 20 was a bonus you won rather than something planned for, and runs that are planned for twenty like retromation it's very samey because it's just "and we won goodbye" not hey lets see if this can stand up to endless because sometimes planned 20 runs are very obvious that there was no way it would last further because of engineered problems.
I could ve wrong but it seems like reseting your weapon cool down doesnt automatically fire you're weapons unless enemies are in range. I think dex misunderstood this mechanic
I think going endless is pretty much based on a run. Unless you are building for it. If you hit the luck lottery and get an insane run before 20 and want to continue, don't stop just because you already got what you wanted. Let it ride until you die.
I don't think that the +curse value is an accurate measure of the amount of curse on the item. It looks like that either the stat values are independently rolled or curse bonus is randomly distributed across the item, rather than a single global modifier.
Well that's unfortunate, but I get because it would be too broken, I mean it's not like there is other item that if cursed can achive something similiar and break the game
I think going endless allows you to showcase the full potential of a build. However, if you feel like you won't be able to reach wave 30+, then I don't think it's worth to go endless. All in all, I think you should decide it based on how much fun you are having. There's nothing worse than noticing that the guy you are watching is getting bored. it really kills the mood.

how would this interact with revolvers cooldown after six shots? would it instantly go back to 6 shots ready?
btw Dex I don't know if you noticed, but cursed mirror gave like 10% item price reduction, so, combine it with cursed coupons

Lets just say that my favorite video was the wave 1000 one with demon, but i wouldnt like for you to reach a burnout state and hate the game lol
