Two first period pins over a 2x Big 10 champ! Bo is an absolute beast! It’s so weird to me that Bo took 🥉 at Big 10s that year while Brooks took 🥇. Bo lost in the semis 6-4 to Martin who then went on to lose 12-2 to Brooks in the finals. Fast forward to NCAAs and Bo creams Brooks in the semis and knocks off 2x champ Gabe Dean in the finals!

Brooks…..is NOT a “stud”. Getting stuck as often as he did is indicative of lack of strength. Granted that Bo and Penn State are vastly superior to the black and gold. But….seriously you cannot possibly think Brooks is a “stud” after this performance?

the first 20 times I've watched this I didn't think Brooks was pinned, but I just caught the one angle the ref was probably seeing and saw the blades touch. Regardless, it was only a matter of time, as Nickal turned him in, so it wasn't goin off the mat after that anyways.

Yeah both tops of the shoulder blades if they touch for about a second it’s supposed to be a fall but a lot of reffs mess it up and don’t call it when it’s there

@@matthewlee8618 It's actually two full seconds, or for the refs that's two (both shoulders to the mats) counts, so if they see the shoulders both down and then can't see it and see it again, that is a full two count in their mind. It feels like 5 seconds for us wrestlers.
