Like others have said, the FO series is terrific: fun AND informative. As a process knitter, I get a lot from your notes and thoughts on your experiences. I have to say, it seems rough to be a product knitter; as the end result isn't my main source of pleasure, ripping out (yes, even almost completed works) doesn't phase me much. It just means I get to knit more 😊 But your perseverance is commendable. And your struggles with gauge? I'm with you!!! All the more reason I'm glad that process is more important to me than product.
Swatching is a science that is just hard to comprehend. I get as close as I can after two or three attempts and get started. Thanks for letting us know you frogged your sweater. If you don’t like it, you won’t wear it. So go forth and 🐸 it! Happy Knitting 🧶 😊
Beautiful cardigan! Thanks for talking about the mistakes you made. I get so down on myself when I mess up. I’m currently knitting the Ankestrick Garden Cardigan. In watching TV I got distracted and really messed up following the wrong place in the pattern. I just finished tinking 4 rows and still going until I can get back to the area I started doing wrong. I had just joined under the arms having back, left and right parts done. It helps to know I’m not alone in these things. ❤🧶
Your sweater looks beautiful on you. I appreciate your FO diary series very much! I have been considering a cardigan with the button ban knitted as you go. After watching this , I am inspired! Thank you so much for all your information, time and fun ! Have a lovely week.
