Based solely on what I see in this video, it seems like a really good start, but is missing some features crucial for writing a good melody for pop songwriters like me. The generated melodies are too random, even with the option dials (which are good) available . It needs to be able to generate more structured rhythms and melodic motifs, divided into sections (AABA, AAAB, etc.) that are repeated throughout the melodic line. To have AI structured motifs based on thousands of hits songs would be incredible. Defining specific note range option would be great. Also, it would be an absolute dream to type in your lyrics and have it structure them rhythmically and melodically into structured motifs. The closest thing I've seen is Captain Melody Epic.
Most folks would come up with their own melody. What people are looking for is chord generators.I see an auto chord button though. Is there a way it can make the chords more complex or jazzy than the first one it generated?
Green Light Sound Nothing was mentioned about creating your own melody song chords and then letting the chord progression harmonise togetherwith your song intuitvely. I dont realy want ready made song notes placed there for me, but want to create my own tunes. Does that make sense ? And is the software that intelligent ? If we get no reply then we can guess it doesnt do what wed like it to.
Thanks to the poster @beautifulcaramelman for alerting me to the subscription model. It saved me 12 minutes since I'm now not interested in even watching the video!
I have songs with fully completed arrangements I recorded long ago as mp3 and wav files. Unfortunately some of them are so ancient and I don't have the synth I used to create 5 to maybe 9 tracks on them . I've used chord AI which helps a lot in figuring it all out but I wish there was something that could recognize the bass notes , melody notes and other parts I put together separately..
thans for this demo. quite interesting that after 5 tones my sense would finish otherwise the song. So an additional "story" is missing from compositions. but anyway it gives nice ideas.
Can this generate melody if I have a song project already underway? Basically, I have a song that has everything in it done. Guitars, drums, orchestra, etc. What I need left is the melody and I want an AI to generate that for me.
how do you do it the other way round ? i got a lead melody on the piano and i need an auto chord generator software or website that automaticaly generates a chord progression based on my lead piano melody input that i put into the software ? so i need to put my lead piano melody in first then i need to have a special chord progression automatically created based on the lead piano melody input that i have just put it ? is this possible with this software ? and if it is how do you do it with this software ? and if you can't do it with this software then what is the name of the software that will allow me to do this job ? i am happy to pay for it if i have to but i would appreciate free software ? thanks !
@@GreenLightSound also what is the best guitar stem creation software ? I need to create lead guitar stem , rhythm guitar stem and piano stem and saxophone stem and violins stem and bass stem and drums stem ahd even vocals stem if possible but I especially need to create the 2 different lead guitar and rhythm guitar stems especially out if either mp3 or wav or m4a files ? I have only seen stem creation software that gives me an instrumentals stems which mash’s the lead guitar and the rhythm guitar and often the piano together as one stem and I don’t want this I need seperate special lead guitar stem and seperate rhythm guitar stem aswell ? What is the best software to do this on a Mac computer from the application store ?
No offense to Green Light, but this software is still pretty early. Those melodies were terrible (did remind me of old video games! Ha ha). Worst part, this software is subscription ONLY. You CANNOT buy this software without recurring payments. Oh well... Thanks for sharing this! Definitely an interesting idea, just needs more work to be a real valuable tool.
Please Just make an alternative of midi wizard. All these extra options suck. Just let me choose simple things key and genre, the GENERATE. done! Also no monthly subscription.
Why Monthly subscription? What do you add every month to warrant a monthly subscription?
I'd be more interested if it was just a one time payment. I hate these new subscription models with vsts these days
Yup. Saw "subscription", exited window lol.
Staying with Scaler 2 for this reason
@@DJBremen They all want to be millionaires! lolll
No chance of taking out a subscription to any hf these services
Same here...
Thanks for the informative introduction to this tool, and for tying it into the EZ keys and EZ bass programs which I use too!
You're welcome!
Ezkeys blew me away! Awesome video ❤
The right tool with the wrong payment model. Instacomposer can do all that for just one time payment!
Dream on! Nice product but will look for one time purchase as a matter of principle.

Really appreciate this video guys!

Same here, screw subscriptions. Not interested unless i could buy it.
HI! Is it possible to do the opposite way inputting the melody and then making the chords being generated on that?
Thats exactly what I want to know ! Whilst watching the video what you said crossed my mind. So whos going to give us the correct response ? 😃
can you make the piano chords more interesting like you did at 8:25 but in Musia itself or you have to save it to EZ Keys and choose a preset?

so we cant buy it... you SHOULD really LEAD with that ... its a subscription plan ...
hell no ..

How can I use Musia in connection with Ableton Live 11 Suite
Can you keep segments of melodies that you like or put in your own segments of melody and let auto melody fill in the rest (similar to auto chord)?

Hey man. Try ripy deep remix from hitnmix. You have a 21 day trial and it can extract stems and show you notes played

Thanks for the vid. I have my completed melody. Trying to find AI that will suggests chords for the melody.

So this is basically meant for talentless non musicians wonnabes who also feel to lazy to learn any musical instrumen. Ok
would be nice to have different colors for piano left hand and right hand.
So helpful, thanks for sharing! :)

Hello! I would like someone to explain to me, when i download the program, where is it installed to?. In my DAW? Standalone? Can U help me Please!
no midi import option?
There is no way I would pay subscription, besides I don't need AI that makes music, I need tool that helps me create. Good luck anyway :D
is this generating chord progression based on the melody?
Sounds a lot like Band in a Box
… in 1998.
Never see a vst that have techno song presets... Always damn hiphop
Does MUSIA have a Country Music Genre...?
the generated music in this video sounds like it was taken from French or Soviet films of the last century, lol
the site is in a foreign language. Anyone know what the price is for it?

Scaler 2 might be able to do it. I haven't used it since I'm comfortable with music theory.
@@GreenLightSound I am trying to learn more music theory myself so that I can get better thanks

Why doesn't the developer company respond?????????????, would you like to buy the software!
What is this? "music" for gameboy?
The point is to drag and drop the MIDI and use your own sounds within the DAW.

Was about to jump on this until I saw it's subscription software. Ugh!
subscriptions suck

Chord progressions are ok but the Melody’s were all horrible.
Looks amazing although will never get it due to being subscription, such a waste 😢
Subscription model = No.
If it’s a sub model… go poke it hard.
I thought I'd try this but the melodies are the low quality stuff no one likes
You neen to be a rich kid to be able to payfor all these subscriptions.
People with no creativity: 😃
I guess if you're having writers block....
Great
