Personally I don’t think powerage is underrated! It’s been getting a ton of props lately, topping lots of people lists. I like it as much as the next guy but really is is better than highway to hell? Let there be rock? or high voltage? Not in my opinion. 4th best bon album in my opinion! Dirty deeds is a killer song but the album is not as solid in my opinion.
She's got balls, night of the long knife, caught with you pants down, the honey roll, stormy may day, this house is on fire, stand up, what's next to the moon, baptism by fire, the razors edge, hard times, get it hot, overdose and walk all over you are my list of underrated riff🤘🤘
Excelent video! Some of my favorite underrated riffs are: First Blood, Brain Shake, Send For The Man, This Means War, The Honey Roll, Rock And Roll Singer, Whiskey On The Rocks, All Screwed Up, Emission Control, Up To My Neck In You, etc...
Ballbreaker had some amazing greasy greasy riffs, Brian was also amazing there. Not to even talk about live shows, hangin on a ball hitting those high notes
Thx Rob. Excellent covers as always. I love your style. You make me want to pick up my guitar NOW. It’s 2 am! Lol This is so happy! Love it! CANADA ROCKS! 🇨🇦🤘🎸💕
Great video! Actually good start! Sin city si a really powerful riff My favourites are sin city, live wire and bad boy boogie, because it is my favorite ac/dc song
Heatseeker and Landslide. I also love Up to My Neck in You, although that's more to do with Bon's amazing vocal on it, rather than the riff. Brian's live version is also really good
Great to see Sin City in there. Countdown in reverse order, at no 3 jointly are Up To My Neck In You and Cold Hearted Man, and a posthumous mention for Kicked In The Teeth. Powerage!!!! No 2 - Rock n Roll Singer, and at No1, Overdose.
@@RobGalley always liked Go Zone from Blow Up Your Video. Any chance you can play that? Really enjoy your channel. Great playing, you’re very talented.

You know what I love about ACDC? Playing guitar and bass and don't get me wrong because it takes extra time with Angus's solos but I can learn a song in about 2 hours and play along with a CD in about 4. So simple but so satisfying to hear and play. It's raw, loud and dirty. And there is so much complexity in the simplicity and it don't take a rocket scientist to figure out thier movements and chord progressions. ACDC is the epitome of Hard Rock. Honestly open chords and power chords just sounds dirty and good. Nothing technical about it. It's rock and roll and not Beethoven. I love covering ACDC songs on bass and guitar just because they're fun to play and it seems like they have fun playing them. Basically blues turned up and distorted. I was 11 when Highway to Hell came out. I became a fan. ACDC is consistant for sure. Never changed. That maybe why the fill stadiums still and why preschoolers can sing The Jack and never know what it means. Right? It just sounds good.
@@RobGalley Wow nice dad hah :) Not sure how I started to listen to AC/DC, because my dad dont listen to them that much, he more of a motörhead fan, and us anf such
I just had to have the noise kept low at all times which sucked, but I also got some acoustic foam pads to dampen the sound to try & stop it from traveling to my neighbours!
Every song by ac/dc is underrated, except back in black hells bells and you shook me, those got the attention they deserved. I never liked a single song in black ice though :/
Ill give it another listen, but I tried to like it so many times already. I think it's something with the sound or whatnot, every other album I could absolutely not live without! I am also somewhat nervous about pwr up now.
No Dog Eat Dog? Oh well. You played the shit out of a bunch of those riffs, anyway. Also, I'm not sure if 'If You Want Blood' would count as under-rated, but I would have like to have heard that, too.
Honestly getting a good tone that fits songs from every album is so difficult because what works for something off Fly on the Wall (more gain) wouldn’t sound right for something off Ballbreaker for example - which is a cleaner sound. So I changed it up a bit!

Pretty much the entire album of Powerage....🤘🏻🤘🏻
Awesome album 🤟🎸
Powerage is easily my favorite album, love it!
Best álbum ever ¡¡ 🤟🤟
Powerage and the Word underrated are just the most perfect match

Sounds like part 3 to me 😂
Meanstreak, mistress for Christmas, DT, This Means war etc etc
what about Problem Child?
Sink the Pink? Love that one!🤘
Angus' verse riff in who made who is one of the hardest. You pulled it off very well sir 👍
Yeah it’s harder than it sounds! Thanks 🤟
Excelent video!
Some of my favorite underrated riffs are:
First Blood, Brain Shake, Send For The Man, This Means War, The Honey Roll, Rock And Roll Singer, Whiskey On The Rocks, All Screwed Up, Emission Control, Up To My Neck In You, etc...
Awesome choices!
Honey roll and whiskey on the rocks are so underrated
Ballbreaker had some amazing greasy greasy riffs, Brian was also amazing there. Not to even talk about live shows, hangin on a ball hitting those high notes
Legendary hah!
The Razors Edge is an underrated riff, it would be so so soooooo good for openings to their concerts ✊😔
Whole album is good
just that the song itself sucks ass (and this comes from a HUGE AC/DC fan)
Great video. There are many underrated AC/DC songs but one of my all time favorites is Got You By the Balls
Open with Sin City, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I love the solo in First Blood.
Thanks for watching!

Awesome suggestions!
Starting this one off with Sin City I can tell it was going to be good!
Great video mate! I would've included Safe in New York City and Whiskey on the Rocks. Any chance you could do a few lessons on some of these riffs?
Also great tunes, I’m already thinking of a part 3 😂 Any tunes Inparticular to do lessons on?

What about D.T.?
Rock or bust
I met the guys at the video shoot
I was humbled,
I'm in the video for about 3 seconds lol
I’m very jealous!
I was in that video as well! Awesome day in London!
Aweresome!
Thanks for watching ✌️

Genio!!!!!

I can wait to get my Gretsch G5222
Thats Gretsch is gorgeous. Which model is it?
It’s a 2622T in Riviera blue! Awesome guitar, really enjoy playing it
@@RobGalley Cheers dude. Looking for one now :)
Song riff n3?,,,😻
what about nervous shakedown? i really that riff
That’s in part 3!
@@RobGalley oh yes i see it recently
It would be good to see these done in slow mow ,so we can learn them better
I could always make some lessons in future 🤟
Who Made Who!!!! Yeeeeaaah!!!
Yea pretty much the hope Powerage album is underrated sadly :( My dad has it thou on lp disc, original from 1978 :DD
Pretty sure my dad has an original copy too! He definitely got me into them hah

@@RobGalley Hail Caesar and Are You Ready pls
Are you ready followed by who made who definitely are both amazing tracks. They need more live concert time
Problem Child is the best where is it
Finally something from stiff upper lip!!!
How are you managing to play this in a fifth-floor apartment (I mean in terms of the noise)?
I just had to have the noise kept low at all times which sucked, but I also got some acoustic foam pads to dampen the sound to try & stop it from traveling to my neighbours!
Rob Galley Amazing. Sounds great!
You in NYC?
StamfordBridge Actually in Manchester UK 🤟
Rob Galley Ah, well, keep it rockin in Manchester then!
Rob Galley seen AC/DC 4 times, every time in Manchester great city and great video mate.
5:01 shot in the dark

@@measurebymeasure3605 do u like rock or bust I'm not that keen on it.
@@martymartin2894 good question, I will ahve to give tht another listen too!
not even Stormy May Day?
I think Riff Raff is the most unterrated song from ACDC. The riff, the solo, lyrics, everything is perfect, but unknown
Awesome tune from the bon era
Most under rated track is “Landslide” from FOTS.
Try listening to house of jazz
Peace and quiet ;) No no no . Great !
Acdc beats peace & quiet!
Really You are great !
Was expecting Black Ice to be in here
Too many to choose!
👌👌👌
Riff no.3 is so Peter Green.
theres no vibrato on the Low E during Sin City. That's the TWO most important notes....it has to ring out in open. Ba Bum Bum
Fair dos!
Danny the move to Renault wasn't so bad, you don't have to turn to TH-cam for a living.
I’m so confused 😂
You remind me of Danny Ricciardo, formula one driver.
ballbreaker has some of the best riffs writen by ac dc
my favorite album
No Dog Eat Dog? Oh well. You played the shit out of a bunch of those riffs, anyway.
Also, I'm not sure if 'If You Want Blood' would count as under-rated, but I would have like to have heard that, too.
Thanks for watching! Honestly there’s too many I wanted to put into both these videos!
Your sound was so much better in the first one its too bad :(
But great playing and selection tho
Thanks for watching! Yeah I wish I’d kept the sound the same. I was trying to capture the cleaner aspect of their songs but not sure it worked!
@@RobGalley what plugin or amp are you using? I thought it sounded great!
You'd have to take 4-5 songs off of all 17 albums and you'd have a 30 minute video of just their amazing riffs- not including Angus' solos
Wow bri
Does this mean that Badlands isn't underrated
Still too many to choose from!
@@RobGalley the whole flick of the switch album is underrated
There ain't none. ;)
Not convinced any ACDC songs are "underrated"? By whom? lol
Man, what happened to your excellent AC/DC sound of part 1? This one seems all thin and lifeless... (and I can tell it's not due to the Gretsch. ;-))
Honestly getting a good tone that fits songs from every album is so difficult because what works for something off Fly on the Wall (more gain) wouldn’t sound right for something off Ballbreaker for example - which is a cleaner sound. So I changed it up a bit!
