I own 7 BMWs currently. A lifelong diehard enthusiast of the brand! It is the Ultimate Driving Machine. However, I prefer the older models where the driver is in control of the car, not some sensors/computers on current models. But it is a sign of the times. I will always keep my older BMWs because driving them always put a smile on my face!

If you wanted a sports sedan you bought a BMW as there was no Porsche option. Even the SUV market saw BMW making models years before Porsche. To this day Porsche does not come close to the variety that BMW offers and certainly not at the price point BMW offers. Those of us who are adults remember when Porsche made one model and was almost out of business in the last 30 years.
