- In this Rant, Rick shares how the Lord is cleansing His House in preparation for revealing His glory in and through His people. Rick also shares how the Lord has given him clarity on recent events, and that the Lord still uses people who have made mistakes.
I have a strong feeling, that Chris Reed will be fully restored, and given restitution for all that he has been through, I’ve watched him be so transparent,
I’ve watched many podcasts before this came out, where he has spoken, and I saw humility and a genuine heart towards the father, when I first saw this come out, I started praying for him, I had such a burden for Chris!
God is a God of restoration! Healing! And causing all things to be made new! I believe God is not finished with Chris, and when he is fully restored, he will have a double-powerful anointing on his life! And God always uses all things , All things! I will continue to pray for him!

If Chris was restored by you and he has been on the up and up for years now why are you saying he is messed up now that he decided to step away from this situation. It makes me sick that people in the body can throw a man down and spit on him all while pretending to be operating in the love of God. Let God be the judge between the two of you.

Exactly, just a week before C.R's resignation letter, He stood in the pulpit and praised him. I don't understand why his affair, which was 3 years ago, is being spoken about as if it's an on- going thing. The church also found out after Chris and Kathryn had both repented and ended the relationship.

this is a time for each one of us to ask God to examine and reveal to us our own hearts. To stop looking at man for the answers and worship that only God deserves. He will not tolerate any other idols before Him.
I no longer trust you, Rick. That is a problem. It’s taken me 33 years to get to this point. I first heard you speak in May 1992. I was there when the cloud appeared at the conference. Your books have changed my life. And now, 33 years later, I no longer trust you. But our trust must be in the Lord, not man. The Lord is faithful; this is my testimony.
I LOVE CHRIS REED AND BELIEVE IN HIM! The same way God cleans house~ the devil tries to eliminate the best of the best. I will always support & love him. He is growing spiritually more by the day.
Rick, you should have not allowed Todd Bentley back into ministry. God is cleaning house and it starts with you Rick and Morningstar. You all need to repent and get on your face before God.
Nobody is perfect. Rick did what Jesus wanted and it's not his fault if the person he's trying to restore doesn't walk straight. Should Jesus have repented for letting Judas Iscariot be his disciple?
Rick didn't choose to let Todd Bentley back into ministry, Todd went back into ministry on his own. Rick can't stop him from doing anything. He can just restore him and be there to support him if he gets into trouble again, which I believe he did.

I look up to you Rick and also Chris and still do- both of you. I'm disappointed with you Rick in how you dealt with Chris this past week and how you handled the Kathryn situation in the past. I just pray morningstar can stay very strong like it has been. Lord showed me in the past how I can't put you men of God on pedestals, and this is another reminder.

I am feeling the same way. So heartbroken about this. I love Rick so much. I wanted to witness the Holy fire, that will consume everything that is not of God at once and will stir that passionate love and intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

why still so much about Chris reed. The main issue was that guy and those kids. Chris reed is gone...those kids and that guy and the trial of that man is there to stay. returning to the lord is not returning to morning star.

You are talking about Chris Reed but what about the lawsuits filed against Morningstar for alleged mishandling of sexual abuse by the former volunteer youth worker - Erickson Lee!? The historical abuse cases that even date to 2000s .. let’s not forget that and pick the scapegoat !!! These sexual abuse incidents allegedly happened long before Chris Reed
He's using Chris as a diversion.

@jodyliske6916 that is pure speculation on Chris's part. I watched his video, and there was nothing but speculation in it. It made me very sad. I felt like it was gas lighting. I'm not saying there isn't wrong on both parts, because there certainly is. But Chris's video was nothing but pure speculation.

Thank-you for sharing in this difficult time Rick, you are an anchor and a father for many in the body. Mercy triumphs over judgment but as you say God needs to refine and thresh His church regardless of how messy it appears. Chris Reed's situation will be a learning for everyone and I'm sure if people keep Jesus at the center both their humility and their dignity will be glorified. We must remember that we are in a spiritual battle and our fight is not against flesh and blood.

Rick, I've been reading you and have been awed n impacted by The Vision trilogy. I read the sword n the torch over n over. Praise God. But I have this to say. You have made a grave mistake with Chris Reed. I believe u set him up for leverage and used it when he saw the dirt in MS n left. The more you rant on about Chris, the more your shadiness is revealed. It's such a great big shame! But I love the vessel that you are. Take your own advice, repent and give up the quest of covering up before you find yourself actually killing to cover your dirt. Repent. Happy Birthday, Rick and I want to say thank you for a lot of insights in the spiritual world that you shared in your books. Gave me understanding beyond the christianity that was teached in Germany, really. Specially the climbing of the mountain of the Lord I remember in one book gave me understanding about my own way in the faith I never forget. Greetings from Germany

The saddest part i always compared myself with high leaders ,but now ive learned that you can only trust God. If our testimonies is not save with the church where do people go ?! Dissipointed with rje church leaders. Blame and shame is all i hear. I can expect this from unbelievers but yall making it very hard to look up to yall. No wonder Jesus has not return yet cause the church does not operate in unity. The chruch causes more damaged to baby believers. Im struggling to understand this. But again God warned us about this.

Leave Chris alone. You through him under the bus to cover the sins that were uncovered in your ministry, not Chris ministry. So as the father, you watch yourself because people know that the accusations are against Morning Star and not Chris.
Diversion tactics. Take the focus off himself and throw the focus on Chris with a subject not related to the lawsuits against MSU.

people come through morningstar from all over the world and you guys don’t give a damn about any of them and the front desk at the hotel is one of the worst customer service experience which is an indication of the culture, you’re a great talker rick but what are we moving forward with that you speak of, spectator Christianity? I cannot waste any more of my time with your ministry, I have moved on so I can do the work of the Lord and have found a fellowship that appreciates me, acknowledges me and I can roll up my sleeves and work with them in fulfilling the great commission and doing the works of Jesus, I wish you the best, I once regarded you as a spiritual mentor from your books and conferences but I have to move on and do His work and fulfill his calling, there’s nothing there for me
It appears you have lied on some things Rick. Chris and the victim herself tells a slightly different version of what happened. Why did you pull Chris's previous issue in with the lawsuit against Morning Star. You might want to go and look at Chris's video yesterday. The Wake Up and Win podcast might be something you might want to watch too. They conflict with your story after interviewing the victim live on their podcast.

I have been in earnest prayer about the whole situation. As I pray, the Lord keeps saying, focus on me. ( God). I'm not a member of Morning Star. I live in Georgia . I am a partner of Morning Star for now 2 years. I have received prophetic word from Chris R. Once in October 1, 2021 when he was here in Georgia at Gate City. I had never heard of him before. Then I went to a Business conference in Concord, N.C. and thought on my way home I would stop in for the morning service at Morning Star. Didn't know it was the same day that Chris was being sworn in as President and CEO. After the ceremony. After worship, he called out a word..... which pertained to me.. He prophesied over me for about 19 minutes. Both words brought healing in my life. Then I was just at the MKBA conference. Then this all came out that following week. ( I have met his wife, through a mutual friend) So my heart was aching for her and Chris. Asking the Holy Spirit to give me guidance on how to pray. Did not know about the law suits against Morning Star. Until shortly after that. It seems the Rory Report stirred things up and probably the reason for it going public. Praying for the truth to be revealed and most of all for healing and restoration to take place. In this coming to public knowledge. Asking the Lord, " Search me, God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts . See if there is any offensive way in me. and lead me in the everlasting way" PS 139: 23-24" I am vested in two events at Morning Star, one the Vision Conference and the MKBA even in 2025. I'm asking the Lord if I should go. In my natural mind, I'm concerned about the lawsuits and the church not standing with the victim and what to defend themselves. But I lean into the Holy Spirit to give me guidance. Yes, I believe He is doing some shaking, separating the tares from the wheat. We must keep our eyes on Jesus, have Him guide in everything we do.

Beyond that I feel that the Holy Spirit is highlighting the business nature of the way you steward what is his.

Rick, you have lost most of the families with children. The core group that was attending and faithfully serving at Morningstar for years. We simply don't feel like we can trust the ministry anymore. This was not an easy decision for many of us. We care for you and Julie, but after covering up Chris's affair and putting him in such a position, then choosing to pursue the lawsuit against the child victims we don't feel that we can trust you or the church anymore. It's a sad time for many of us.
Praying for you as you navigate these difficult times.

Rick, I have followed you for years. Can you explain to me why just about every prophetic or interessory person I know including myself saw red flags with that man? I have had similar experiences with others before. Identifying something is off.
That does not mean push them away. It means pray for them. Always pray and edify. Accusation and division is not within the church and is not of the lord.

I just listened to Chris Reed's message he put out yesterday. Something is terribly wrong in the Church leadership! They have forgotten that Proverbs 6:19 is in the Bible: "a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers" is one of the 7 things The Lord Hates! Where is the Fear of the Lord, because you will all give an account to Him.
I listened to Chris' message yesterday too. Something is very wrong with HIM. His message was full of self-promotion.

May as well say I did not have a positive witness of Chris Reed. In my perspective, prophesied out of his own spirit. As you admitted: pride and admiration for him blinded you. I also relate very well to the learning experience of not putting trust in man and being disappointed...

Scripture tells us not to put a novice in leadership. Clearly we don’t base qualifications on extraordinary prophetic gifting. It’s sad and that
decision was yours. That aside you’re saying that Chris is not restored? That what happened in the past is not in the past? No water under that bridge? It sounds like Chris is still in his sin? If not why is his failure that was suppose to be processed through, even being brought up now and intertwined in a rant involving grave failure of biblical characters, hiding their sin? Is Chris hiding sin? You have a responsibility to tell the truth now. If this is not the case then this whole rant is absolutely convoluted, too open ended for conjecture, and terribly misguided. Casting doubt on his right standing, presently. You say it was your mistake putting that kind of responsibility on him in the first place. So it is really unfair to air your grievances over the fall out of your own bad decision. Especially, if his failure truly happened in the past, and has nothing to do with what’s happening now. I think your great disappointment should be directed to the leadership that was in charge when the abominable transgressions occurred that is now the real issue that should be highlighted. Seemingly, being buried under a Chris Reed smoke screen. You would think Chris is implemented here. We live in this area I want my family safe. I would really like some clarity. The problem is putting people on a pedestal….One thing I loved about Jimmy Swaggart when sinned. He didn’t make excuses, he didn’t play the blame game. The man openly repented and said I have sinned against you God. All I see is a bunch of excuses and not taking responsibility.
Jimmy Swaggart was actually caught a couple years after that apology with another prostitute in California 1991 and was very unrepentant.
Swaggart NEVER repented!!! He still claims he did nothing wrong!
