I was there...snuck into the front row halfway into the concert. Best concert of my life to this day. Remember being sore the next day from the mosh pit.
I was 6 when they split. Soooooo thankful I just found the DVD of this show on eBay. After a vicious bidding war I actually got it. Can't wait for it to get here! And I watch/listen to this at work every day xD
@jessicarrosa oh yea? i was born the year RIGHT AFTER they broke up! how's that for sad?!...and terrible timing! i keep joking with my mom, "why couldn't you've given birth to me in 1980?! that's the best year EVER!" and she just kinda laughs at me...xD
Been watching the whole show, and it's awesome, but I still don't know what that third guitarist is adding to the music, if anything. He seems entirely superfluous and I'm not even sure if he's plugged in.
They had recruited Warren Fitzgerald to do rhythm guitar on the last record, and I guess just kept him along for the ride. Dude is a legit pop punk legend, and not quite the most fitting member of Boingo but him and Danny had a close working relationship throughout the '90s.
@@k.g.alatore355 At the time, I think the idea was to free Danny up to just sing, or play percussion - they laid off the horn section and keyboardist at the same time, so there was plenty of room in the music.
@@Baribrotzer It woulda been great had Danny been into it. He was burnt out on rock music by that time. It's a shame because the last record was fantastic and it stood out from the rest of what was coming out in the '90s.
Hi! In the intro you can hear Danny is panned left/right evenly. Then at 0:13 both Steve (full left) and Warren (full right) come in together. Then at 0:30 Danny and Steve go into that lead thing while Warren continues the riff. So the left speaker has two people playing the lead thing and the right speaker has Danny on lead thing and Warren on rhythm. This becomes more apparent at 2:30 when Danny isn't playing at all. You can distinctly hear Steve and Warren trading of rhythm noises. Point is he fills out the sound in a great way while providing even more stage antics/energy!

Very Very jealous of you - Greatest band of all time.
I love how this song is basically Primus performed by Oingo Boingo
