Wow what a great video and an awesome buck! You always have a way of telling a story that's makes me feel like I'm right there with you. Congrats and thanks for sharing Jason. Good luck this year buddy👍👍
Jason, very cool ride along and thanks for sharing....I'm from PA and have been blessed to hunt the nearby Bear Paws a few times for rutting mule deer and pics & films are hard to do this place and time of the year justice.. but you have been one of the only ones to come close...Another reason this PA boy misses big sky is having the opportunity to meet and be-friend one of the last cowboys - in my mind anyway - Doug Mitchell of the Mitchell ranch in Cleveland Montana....The most modest, humble and tuffest guy I know...and thanks for the Bobcat - Grizzly mention...as I watched this in my Grizzly sweatshirt I had to laugh.....Man I miss Montana .. and if I can get back to some reasonable health (have crones disease w/ many surgeries kicking my ass), maybe this ol PA boy will make it back....Peace.. and thanks for spurring some pretty dang cool memories in Big Sky...
In the summer of 2017 I was able to travel thru eastern Montana going to and from Fort Peck Res on the Missouri River fishing. That area has such a unique and rich history since that is where the Crow and Sioux Indians among others called home for thousands of years. The Battle Of The Little Bighorn tool place fairly close to there in south central Montana. Eastern Montana was the home to some of the giant prehistoric animals and there are ongoing digs going on at the present on the banks of Fort Peck Res. Jason is right when he says there is an abundance of wildlife thur out that area and the current Pope and Young record elk is from S.E. Montana as of a couple of years ago. In 2015 I traveled thru S.E. Montana and could not believe the huge antelope and whitetail deer I saw there. Back to the west a ways in Great Falls Mt is where the Lewis & Clark Museum as well as the Charles M. Russell Art Museum is and I recommend anyone traveling thru the area stop and take them in, you will not be disappointed.
notification of the reply had me wondering what happened...lol. Glad to see it was not meant for me! And FWIW I always figure that "most" of those opposed really want the same end goal "we" have for animals but just see the process differently. You do great job in representing with your videos and actions...thank you!
Hey Jason I'm Dave from MN and a new subscriber really enjoy your channel!!! I've got many friends born and raised in Culbertson I have been hunting myself for 10 years out there and cannot tell you how fired up these vids get me ready to head West 10 hours mid November. I was wondering if you can tell me what brand/model pack your using carrying those yotes was badass!!! Thanks man
Jason, what is that cover you have on your scope and barrel in this video? It looks pretty nice, where did you get it? Great video by the way. I would love to hunt Easter Montana and the badlands country some time, definite bucket list. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you.
I didn't like this vid very much, I don't have anything against hunting ranches that sell hunts but it really takes a lot away from the experience and vid when they act more like cows.
Capin Kirt thanks for your feedback. I support all legal forms of hunting and I invite you to try hunting one if you actually think they stand around like cattle...
Jason Matzinger I don't have a problem with hunting ranches. But hunting this one kinda made a boring vid is all. I'm blessed enough to live in a state with good public lands and just prefer to hunt it myself and if I don't get a deer or just a small one I'm fine with that.
Capin Kirt I agree. It’s about the experience of being out there. Size has nothing to do with the quality of the hunt. I’ve found when you hunt for the right reasons it doesn’t matter what side of the fence your on.
So inspiring. Every video. Every story.
Love the music.
Thank you! Most of it is composed by Harlan Wolff.
Yet another epic hunt shared to all of us through your lens, thank you and congrats on a beautiful buck!
Listening to bobcat football. Yesss that’s awesome. Go cats!
Love your work! Big fan.
How you only have 5K subscribers baffles me. Really like the quality of video you make.
Jason, I thumbs up your videos before I even watch them because you've set a precedent.
jaron_to_the_dansie thanks man!!
What a stomper! Antlers like a roosevelt. So awesome
Great video with some awesome country. Great deer!

In Norway you have a law that allows anybody to be in nature and harvest anything from it

NIMROD OUTDOORS oregon
oregon
oregon oregon
What do you mean Oregon Ron?
I think they’re called rapid rifle covers
They count brow tines in Montana? That first one looks like a "four bi" to me.
I count any tine that is a scorable point by Boone & Crockett or Pope & Young standards, which is anything over 1".
Start taking out more coyotes so your does can give birth to the fawns, more deer and better bucks
