Invoice and late payment on the cx. I can’t believe this sh*t!!!

    I left the cx for this reason, waiting ages for invoices to be paid was painful every month.

    You are so right, i have had the exact same excuse'accounts on holiday"! wtf , CX dont care a shit about drivers and give shippers all the grace, so glad someone who makes vids has the balls to say it as it is , well done mate. The thing that grates me more than anything is the famous customer wont pay that much! what is it with shippers if customer dont pay then goods dont go! if all shippers took that stance then customers would have to bloody pay. I think its getting to the point that to get some jobs they expect you to either run at a loss or if lucky break even, this cant be sustained, transport is beoming more of a pain in the ass by the day, cant wait to be able to get out, keep up with your honesty in the vids

    I spent over 3hrs yesterday afternoon chasing invoices that hadn't been paid. A few were over 3 weeks late. I did get the same excuse saying the account department is on holiday at the moment. Most shippers do pay on time but it's the odd few that don't. Feedback is another bugbear. I've done hundreds of jobs since I started & have never been late or had any problems yet they don't leave feedback. I think you're right the Shippers do have the power.

    They are bringing in a new payment system soon - which will resolve this but it’s a few months away

    Great video pal and you’re spot on with the late payers. Best way is to ring them up then if still no joy go and knock on there door they don’t seem to like that. They should be charged extra for every day they are late a bit like waiting time. It does seem some shippers don’t give a damn about the drivers

    This excuse about accounts being on holiday is the oldest BS in the invoice paying world. Unless it’s Christmas/ Easter or other bank holidays they are at work but don’t want to pay.
