A new batch of the M2 Auto-Haulers series has arrived in US stores with three sets of car and truck (or pickup), and in addition there is another “chase” set that is more difficult to find.
Auto-Thentics is a collection that mixes cars from various M2 series with many different car themes, and two new batches have just arrived in US stores. Each of the lots comes with six cars and a “chase”.

I owned a 1967 Hurst Olds 442 and a 1972 Dodge Charger back when I was in my early 20's. The Charger was Blue with a 318 2bbl. Nothing supremely fast but it was a beautiful car! My Hurst Olds however was ⚡Lightning⚡ fast! With a 455 4bbl and Ram air! Whoooo! It was a seriously fast car. My Dad rode in it the second day and after a ¼ mile run he got out, said he was walking home and he'd never ride in it again. It was too fast and too dangerous for him. He was right I almost died twice in it. But MAN IT WAS SO FUN TO DRIVE!! The Hurst Dual-Gate racing shifter was awesome! It was at the time primer gray, so when cars like a mint Trans-Am came up. One in particular comes to mind. He pulled up next to me on Hwy. 100 in West Allis, Wisconsin. He had a sweet Trans-Am, but when I offered to race, he laughed at me. And said against that? Haha! Okay, get ready to lose. He looked over to his girlfriend who was between him and me in his passenger seat. The 🚦light🚦 hit 🚦green🚦and 💥boom💥the wheels spun and all he saw was my TAILLIGHTS! He wouldn't even pull up next to me at the next red light so I waited. His girlfriend was laughing her butt off, not at me, but at him for his arrogance. She actually gave me a thumbs👍up👍! That was a cool moment for a kid who had to deal with bullies and rich boys. For once the Underdog won!
