      Are both of them real 1:64 scale? I have only greenlight, auto world and johnny lightning. I bought a M2 and it was a little bit bigger than others. (a mustang boss)

    I understand that people keep these cars in their packaging because that keeps their value, so if you are planning to sell, then why even bother buying them in the first place? A few bucks of "earnings"? You've probably spent more already on taxes, gas and/or shipping. Take them out, play with them, see how the roof or doors open, roll them on the table and have fun man. If the car is really valuable it will continue to be valuable even if you've taken it out of the box. I see lots and lots of diecast at antique stores and flea markets which are clearly from someone hoarding a specific casting and after all these years never really went up in value and they end up being sold in bulk for pennies on the dollar to be sold at around MSRP 10 years later again at a some random flea market.

      I have no intention to sell thems. I just don't have space to display all of theses models. Just like the greenlight cars. When I will get a new house I will create a showroom. And all of theses models will be organised on the walls or be feature in a diorama. Just like my RLC cars and others unique models. Anyway in 10 years nobody will want theses cars. They are way too expensive to begin with to gain value. Unless you got a chase or super chase car.

    At 24:31 you showed the plum crazy 1970 Dodge Super Bee. I just bought this same color car but not in the box package, it is in the blister pack, but still screwed to the same base. I was browsing thru the autorama indoor car show here in Detroit first weekend of march and a man had so many die cast on the table but the super bee caught my eye for only $3. So what is the difference between the traditional hot wheels style blister packaging and the box stuff with a clear lid that snaps over the display?
    I so wanna rip the super bee out of package and put it with others already opened but curious who thinks what about it and would it be worth more in the box package?

    • @TheKingRacer007
      @TheKingRacer007  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The m2 in the blister cards aren't the same quality as the ones that comes in the transparent display boxes and usually worth less. They do not have opening parts and have a plastic base instead of metal. Unless it's a chase car, I don't think it will lose much value out of the blister.

    • @NigelHeads
      @NigelHeads 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheKingRacer007 I never knew that! Good to know. The blister cars are $5 here at Walmart and the plastic boxed ones are $6.88. I never really considered they had differences though, I figured you were just paying for the display case!

    • @TheKingRacer007
      @TheKingRacer007  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@NigelHeadsThe Price difference here in Canada is more obvious. Personaly I prefer the ones that comes in the transparent display cases, I think the price/quality ratio is way better for what you get. I am debating on selling the blister carded m2s I have. They just feel cheap in hand and less detailed overall. The blister cards m2 are 6.95$ and the display case ones 9.99$ at Walmart.

      m2 have differents sorts of chases. They always come with a chrome sticker and special decorations. You have 3 main categories (750 pts, 500 pts and 250pts) but you can also find 300 pts chase. The rarest one (250) will have a non painted raw metal body while the most ''common'' ones will have chrome painted wheels and interiors)

    • @TheKingRacer007
      @TheKingRacer007  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      ''Chase cars'' are very limited production models insert into regular mixes. What make thems special is their rarity and their unique look (gold rims and bumpers, raw body, colored wheels,etc). A chase model can be only 500 pieces, compare to the regular one, wich is 9000 pieces worldwide for exemple.

    I have M2 Machines 1959 Cadillac Eldorado. It's way too big compared to other 1:64's. It's as big as Norev's Mercedes Renntransporter (a flatbed truck).

    • @TheKingRacer007
      @TheKingRacer007  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well M2 are like Autoworld. They are true 1/64 scale. If you take a vintage 1/1 scale 1959 Eldorado and put it next to a real flatbed truck you will see that the Caddy is ridiculously long. Norev castings have differents scale, just like Majorette. But they are ''matchboxe'' scaled models (around 1/60s scale)
