I completely agree with you about not solely eating on the ship. We always eat off the ship for lunches, coffee breaks, ice cream, drinky poos when we're in port. I think it's important to put some money into the economy of the place you're visiting as many of the places rely on tourists to bring in the money. We love supporting local small businesses wether it's a shop, restaurant, bakery, bar or whatever x
@KayleighAnne100 We often get comments on our cruise vlogs asking why we spend money on snacks and drinks when we have a huge floating vessel nearby with unlimited food and drinks. We always try and support small, local independent businesses that need us cruisers to help them stay open. A few euros won't hurt us, but it means a lot to the businesses. Never fancied a river cruise but maybe I should re think, wondered what we would do in the evenings with big ships having so much to do but you both seem to be having a lovely time. Looking forward to next vlog. X
@Dawnuser-eu3ye9uv2c This was our thoughts exactly. Loved the big ships but was bit worried about the evening entertainment. There is a significant change due the ship being small if you don't particularly like what's on, you don't really have a choice. Luckily we enjoyed what was on offer and became good friends with the entertainment team. I would recommend it and do it again but if I'm honest... we do prefer the cruise liners. Yes it’s been crazy, but I’m getting my hearing aid on Saturday. Can’t wait. On the this river cruise. We didn’t have to tip as all gratuities were included. I can’t talk for other cruise lines I am afraid thanks for watching and commenting ☺️

@ardongrainford8004 Thanks Ardon. Yes I believe every cabin has a balcony of some sort. We absolutely loved it. We often had the doors open, taking in all the scenery xx
