In your last video( the part 1 to this video) you said you deleted the airbox for pod filters. What is the diameter of the inlets on the carbs? Do you have any pics of them? How did they work for you? Fitment issues? Lots of questions I'm thinking of doing the same on my 06 shadow sabre.
Do you think is something wrong with the vacuum piston or is something else wrong.. Also it was not moving before I took it apart I had just removed the air intake top hoses and the left one was not moving when I try 2 start the bike.. do u think I have to replace the vacuum piston or just the top part the round gasket with the o ring
Booth of the diaphrag Vaccum pistons have to be moving when the bike come on right? Mine the left on won't go up n down only the right one moves up and down while the bike is on.. and I have a big overflow leake.. I already took it apart and cleaned it hoping I didn't had to buy the kid.. but I still have the problem with the overflow line leaking gas.. do you think the reason I have the leak is because of the piston not going up n down? I apresiate if you give me some tips
Wish mine started working like that. Mine is popping like a son of a bi$&h. It was already stage one but I tried the same ones you bought. Just tried to move the e-clip up to the number one slot with only one spacer. It started a few times and the last time it ran for a few seconds without any popping. Then it has died and will not start again. Should I move the e-clip around some more or will playing with the mixture screw help? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to get back on the road without having to go back to stage one jets. Just uploaded a video of what it sounds like when I got it started the first time.
FutureMarinecuv902. it causes a vaccum leak and the needle wont let fuel into the carb correctly it will affect the bike in almost every sittuation low end and top end..
Chop It Garage ok, I'm trying to figure out whats wrong with my bike. it feels fine at 1/3 throttle, but has no top end power. I'll look at the spark plugs to see if lean or rich

So you bumped them up for a larger size. Have you leveled the float balls on both side, doesn't need them?

Must be pretty torqy now with the intake completely off.
It’ll start a lot easier once you synch the carbs up.
Where did you order your jet kit from? I have straight pipes and a k&N filter, on eBay I scene a stage 5 kit. Should I go with that kit?
Chaney. I ordered mine on eBay. most lots will explain what mods are best for each individual kit
Did you pull the baffles or cut the pipes?

can you describe what the bike did with a pinched diaphragm? I rejetted my carbs the other day and now the bike has no top end power.

FutureMarinecuv902. sounds like a lean condition to me. my old vulcan did the same thing before i jetted its carbs
