just a small correction, she didn't win the best music video, she actually won the song of the yes(drivers license), best new artist, and push performance of the year (drivers license).
olivia hasn't done many live performances (this is her 2nd or 3rd) so those articals can't exactly make out the type of performer she is, also this song has some of the chords that misery business has so that's why they sound similar, but olivia didn't plagiarize. great reaction though :)
first off, great reaction. but it amazes me how much misinformation people just take in from unreliable articles. From what is released to the public so far, Olivia made a song and then after the fact it sounded like Paramore's song, so they want to give writing credit for interpolation (not sampled) to Paramore's misery business. I suggest you read rolling stone's article: The Big Business of Interpolating Old Songs for New Hits (you can google it, i can't post external links here) "There’s also the question of whether the precedent that acts like Rodrigo are setting, by freely giving out publishing credits, is any better than the cautious sentiment of the “Blurred Lines” era. "
ahh its not paramore, theres alot of musicians here on youtube who will show you and tell you that its really not a "paramore song" if you want me to just tell you a summary of it id love to give you guys a lecture. and to those articles and people who are saying shes not a "good live performer" they dont know what 'live singing' is. theyre used to a very well produce, lots of backtrack, lip syncing and all that sh!t, basically not really singing live.

Thank you for the correction Jane. ❤️
