The short version is we played varsity football and before the homecoming game there was a party thrown and a group of my buddies on the team were all drinking and partying and at some point someone decided it was time to go for a ride, so all 4 of my buddies who were seniors took off and several miles down the road the kid driving lost control of the car around 80mph on a old 2 lane curvey road and struck a group of tree's. One of my friends was found about 25 feet up in one of the trees that had either gone through windshield or out side when car flipped over. Everyone died except for 1 kid. He is STILL f$@ked to this day mentally from the guilt and everything else including head trauma. No charges were ever brought against him and was only funeral service I remember where hundreds of people came for all 3 kids.

Seriously, I’m not a violent person. If someone accidentally killed my kid during a collision, I would be angry and devastated, but I can’t see myself aiming for vehicular manslaughter charges; I would just want to mourn and avoid the additional trauma of court. But this? This is different. This is someone killing my child with no remorse just to look cool in videos. I would not have handled this well at all.

How about not letting teenagers drive in the first place?
At least at 17 and when they showed signs of irresponsibility beforehand it's just ridiculous to let them drive.
Make driving only legal at min 18 and with very strict Tests for the licence would safe Thousands of lives every year.

In 2008, a teenager driving another M5 flew off the end of an airport runway in Ocala, hitting a tree a splitting in half and killing himself and four of his friends. What is it rich and stupid parents in Florida giving their kids access to 500 HP cars??? Those parents should be held accountable.
