News articles say it was a male friend and a female cousin. Allegedly the robbers were stalking the neighborhood and saw the cousin entering the home and bum rushed in right after her. Just wanted to clear that up and give a little more context. It’s scary to think some deranged individual(s) could be walking by as your simply entering your home and try to take advantage of that. As a victim of a home invasion it is the scariest thing to go through. I was so traumatized I couldn't even remember how many men it was. I said 5 but my wife said 4. It was horrible to see a man with a t-shirt wrapped around his head with a shotgun pointed at me. All I could see was his eyes. It's was so scary. I hope these young people don't get ptsd. They were so lucky.
Almost had one at my home two weeks ago. Was one guy, who stole my energy bill out of my mail box, put it in plastic and tried to force his way in, saying he needed to verify our meter, which isn't located in the home. Shoved him back, which is when he noticed I was armed and left quickly. I called the police immediately.

The amount of therapy I would need after this. Being taken to another room alone, away from your siblings by a guy at gunpoint, the things that run through your mind and the preparation for the worse 🥺. Glad the robbers left thanks to the dad and the family is recovering well.

I hope that these kids can survive such an event. When the brother scooted closer to his sister, I cried. He could not do anything other than to be there for his sister. I am happy that the family had a ring camera and the father was able to speak to the robbers. I believe that those kids would have been badly wounded if not worse had their parents not intervened.

At the end of the video you can see the criminal with a range bag possibly stealing the firearms of the home owners. This could've gone horrible wrong. Hopefully everyone is OK an only material things were lost.

@@luxbunny8678 Thank you for your concerns. It took years for to be comfortable going out by herself. I remembered her living in another city after the ordeal and her boyfriend who is a licensed firearm holder has to accompanied her everywhere. So she has come a far way. Be safe.

I just experienced a home invasion a few nights ago, I was face to face with one of them at 2am while my dad was asleep… all I said was “I didn’t see you, just go!!” And luckily it worked and they left immediately… I couldn’t imagine if the guy had a gun like this situation pointed at my head. bruh this is one of my worst fears, being home alone and someone breaking in. my dog sits on a chair and stares out of the window literally every single second that my mom is not home bc she has separation anxiety, so she is the only thing keeping me calm knowing that I'll hear her start barking if she even sees someone walk by our house.
I literally depend on my dog for this I always pay attention to him he may be little but he will let me know wake me up or whatever and that’s all I need🐶❤️

Their security system proved to be priceless! This video would be a huge selling point for security systems linked to cell phones. Years ago something similar happened to a former co-worker's family but they didn't have a camera linked to their phones. They listed their house for sale within 48hrs, no-one in their family felt safe. They actually never spent another night in their home. Their 12yr old daughter was brutally attacked, raped and beaten. She suffered horrible brain trauma and paralysis. Such criminals deserve zero mercy ....... Life Without Parole or death - just 2 choices.
Actually they stole the guns and stuff they were there for and left they isolated a victim to guide them to the loot per day got it and we're gone they were going to be leaving regardless

It would be such a hard decision to know if you should say something or not. I’d be so scared that startling the suspects or standing up to them would cause them to lash out and hurt one of the kids. These parents were so brave and their kids too. I’m just glad it didn’t escalate and no one was severely injured, I hope this family can heal from such a traumatic incident.

The dad started yelling as soon as they brought her to the other room in hopes to stop what could have happened. You can hear the fear in his voice based on that alone, leaving any care of the robbery behind at that point. It was moments before she was forced back to the living room and they left.

bruh this is one of my worst fears, being home alone and someone breaking in. my dog sits on a chair and stares out of the window literally every single second that my mom is not home bc she has separation anxiety, so she is the only thing keeping me calm knowing that I'll hear her start barking if she even sees someone walk by our house.

Years ago something similar happened to a former co-worker's family but they didn't have a camera linked to their phones. They listed their house for sale within 48hrs, no-one in their family felt safe. They actually never spent another night in their home. Their 12yr old daughter was brutally attacked, raped and beaten. She suffered horrible brain trauma and paralysis. Such criminals deserve zero mercy ....... Life Without Parole or death - just 2 choices.

It would be such a hard decision to know if you should say something or not. I’d be so scared that startling the suspects or standing up to them would cause them to lash out and hurt one of the kids. These parents were so brave and their kids too. I’m just glad it didn’t escalate and no one was severely injured, I hope this family can heal from such a traumatic incident.
