Rogue will be the first Xmen to join the MCU and she will be a terrorist villian like she was originally introduced in the comics. Unfortunately it will be Captain Marvel 2 though. I can't stand the actress that plays Captain Marvel but I'm excited to see Rogue portrayed as a villian.

Its very sad that mostly when an animated series is adapted intoa film they destroy the script. The first Xmen movies had nothing to do with the animated series in my opinion. Only movies like Days of future past or the movie about Magneto as a child growing up where very complex and well made.

While the storylines and characters of past cartoons were better and were allowed to be complex and realistic, modern animation does look better (usually) bit of a shame really. Modern cartoons can be gorgeous on the outside but hollow underneath.

Ahhh, i remember watching this show with my brother religiously, probably my starting love for comics, song still stuck in my head, but in the Latin Spanish version some of the names where changed because translation tho in this version of the intro an epic voice said every X-men name, pretty awesome, Do Batman Animated Series next!
Green Lantern Animated Series by the way was awesome, loved it - as an adult. Introduced me to a universe i became fascinated with... so bummed the series ended. The episode where the Anti-Monitor destroys a main character really tugged at the old heartstrings.
I fully agree! This show in all honesty ushered in my 25 plus year love of comics. I've used this show myself to fuel this love with my own nephews and kids. Im glad disney+ picked this series up to hopefully usher in more youth to comics and reading as well as the messages of fighting for love and overcoming prejudice.
Chelsa Bailey I was 9 when Saban’s X-MEN piloted on Halloween Day 1992. From what I recall and vividly remember, the Pilot had to be split in two parts, because there was a lot of missing storyboards and dialogue. The Avon/Polygram VHS release had the pilot uncut with its missing dialogue. Fox Also aired Night of The Sentinels as an Hour long special on November 14,1992. Another thing I remember is that the only other episode that was ready for air in Late ‘92 was Enter Magneto. The remaining first season got pushed back until January 1993.

Right, Phoenix Saga premiered 5 days in a row. All were in order. He seems to be talking about "No Mutant is an Island", which was an epilogue to the Phoenix Saga, which aired 2 years late but ultimately didn't matter to the storyline (nothing in it was important to the Dark Phoenix saga).
Our generation was lucky. We had Batman the Animated series, Spiderman, and XMen at the same damn time!

Ahhh, i remember watching this show with my brother religiously, probably my starting love for comics, song still stuck in my head, but in the Latin Spanish version some of the names where changed because translation tho in this version of the intro an epic voice said every X-men name, pretty awesome, Do Batman Animated Series next!

Green Lantern Animated Series by the way was awesome, loved it - as an adult. Introduced me to a universe i became fascinated with... so bummed the series ended. The episode where the Anti-Monitor destroys a main character really tugged at the old heartstrings.
I fully agree! This show in all honesty ushered in my 25 plus year love of comics. I've used this show myself to fuel this love with my own nephews and kids. Im glad disney+ picked this series up to hopefully usher in more youth to comics and reading as well as the messages of fighting for love and overcoming prejudice.

LOVED the 90s X-Men Animated cartoon!!! I was in my early 20s then and I watched it religiously!!! It jumpstarted me to collecting comic books.
Chelsa Bailey I was 9 when Saban’s X-MEN piloted on Halloween Day 1992. From what I recall and vividly remember, the Pilot had to be split in two parts, because there was a lot of missing storyboards and dialogue. The Avon/Polygram VHS release had the pilot uncut with its missing dialogue. Fox Also aired Night of The Sentinels as an Hour long special on November 14,1992. Another thing I remember is that the only other episode that was ready for air in Late ‘92 was Enter Magneto. The remaining first season got pushed back until January 1993.

I think it got canceled, due to Disney's buyout of Marvel. It used to air on Nicktoons Network.
Loved this show growing up. I also thought I had missed an episode lol. Good stuff, thumbs up.
Don't forget Spiderman came out at the same time and had Superman follow and Batman finished it up on Fox. Great episodes on all Titles.

I swear the episodes were in order. Like I'd remember being a kid and not getting the 1st part of story or something. I especially remember when they aired the phoenix saga, there was no weird issues there.
Right, Phoenix Saga premiered 5 days in a row. All were in order. He seems to be talking about "No Mutant is an Island", which was an epilogue to the Phoenix Saga, which aired 2 years late but ultimately didn't matter to the storyline (nothing in it was important to the Dark Phoenix saga).
They took FOREVER...To air the Phoenix Saga the first time around.
