It's the Caledonian Single. This is the 8 pin DCC socket version from the Hornby R30234 Caledonian Single 4-2-2 Train Pack but there are older Hornby/Tri-Ang versions too.
@@hythekent Very well thankyou. I've done something rather nerve-racking. For a long time, I avoided the tiddly-fiddly N Gauge track, controller and models. At last, I've given in and added it to my 00 gauge collection. The first N Gauge operation will commence in November, and I'm nervous of handling the models. I've never handled anything so tiny before, this is out of my comfort zone.
@@hythekent I only think of buying what I have room for. TT is slightly larger, I agree, but I don't have any more free space for it. So TT is not being thought of by me. The TT models are beyond my budget. N Gauge is cheaper.
Excellent and nice model. 😃👍

I thought I had the bee’s knee’s of Caledonians with my as built 812 but the big wheeler is lovely, is it a Stirling single?.

Beautiful engine. Ever heard of cheerful music to play in the background? Or if you want slow music, play something like The Blue Danube.
Or he could play that golden oldie sung by Gladys Macgregor “Darling will ye not mind yer business…” 😉 How’s things there Kelly

I don't do cheerful Kelly. The Blue Danube is good if we are going to waltz to the trains chuffing around the track. It's my favourite waltz tune.
@@kellyashfordtrains2642 Kelly. Did you give any thought to TT?
