Yessss! I spent years growing my hair out and I gave birth 9 months ago and I just told my husband I wanted to cut my hair yesterday he knew I was for real real dealing with some stuff!
The wispy hair gets so annoying, the dryness! Postpartum hair just needs a big chop to restore the healthiness again! I’m still dealing with the front being wispy and weird makes me look like a mess
A lot of people don’t know you have to take prenatals for 2 years after you give birth because your body needs the vitamins, and taking them helps prevent hair loss! I started taking them again when I found out and my hair is already growing back quickly 😄
I'am going to have a ten pound infant if she cuts all of that hair. I have always wanted long hair. I' am not going to watch it. My sister had a sister-in-law that use to donate her very long hair to locks of love. I cannot wat h this!!!!!

I had breast cancer last year and went through chemo 6-8/21. Losing my hair didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I actually loved my bald head! Threw on my big earrings and out the door I'd go! Being bald was very freeing. My hair didn't start growing back til 1/22 and I was so tempted to stay hairless but I didn't.
I understand...My hair has always been long I get bored and cut a bob every couple of years I've always want to just shave it off ....I think I'd feel free...other people are attached to my hair...I get tired of it
My hair grew like this when I was pregnant! My doctor advised me to stay on my prenatal vitamins which help me. I did get a big chop and it grew right back. Funny when my stylist started cutting you would have thought time had stopped. Everybody paused!!! Somebody even commented that my husband was going to kill me. My response was, “he didn’t grow it!!!”
Good for you! People are so weird about cutting hair. It grows back people (unless you have an illness like alopecia) but it’s really not that deep. They were just projecting 🙄
@@prtdiva ong, people are so obsessed with long hair and for what. I had long hair and got tired of and cut all that shit off. I'm so much happier now with short hair then when I had long hair. The maintenance is just so easy and way less time consuming and it looks better on me. Long story short: long hair ain't shit
Not if you are old school Apostolic Pentecostal; we believe what the Bible says about a woman's hair being her glory and it being a shame if she has short hair. I was seriously criticized by the leadership of my old church because I had to chop off several inches of mine. I was diagnosed with a rare cancer, developed a major infection after a tumor ruptured an abscess and caused a perforation in my intestines. I had to have a second surgery in less than a month, was on a lot of medication that pretty much fried my hair, I was losing it by the handful, to the point that I lost at least 30% of it and the rest was so damaged that it was snapping off. I cried as I stood in front of my mirror and chopped it, but if I hadn't I probably wouldn't have had more than stubble left when all was said and done. My hair was thin and didn't grow much, probably because the cancer was taking the nutrition out of it, so losing so much was super obvious. I wore wigs for about six months while my hair grew back and was eventually able to just wear scarves for a while until I had enough hair to style. Fast forward five years, I am cancer free after yet another surgery, my hair is thicker than it has been for years and is just over my bra in the back and still growing. I am no longer affiliated with that church and have been much happier where I am now. No judgement about my hair, just love and acceptance.
As someone who shaved her hair all the way off before… IT IS A LEVEL OF FREEDOM LIFE NEVER BEFORE. It’s not for everyone, but I loved it. It’s just hair it grows back.
i'm glad you said "it's what she wants, how is it effecting you?" i went to get my hair cut a few years back from a new girl, and i wanted the v-shape in the back and the girl had the nerve to tell me she didnt like that style and then cut a blunt edge. like really lady? i'm paying you to do my hair, and you're giving me something else because you dont personally like that style? never went back to that salon. i know she's the professional and all, but i know my hair and i know i cant have a blunt cut because its too much hair and just gets to be too much in the front. i need that angle! sorry, rant over. you did an amazing job here.
I feel you. I left a comment on her other video saying the very same thing. The last stylist complained in veiled insults that my hair was so thin, she wouldn’t give me the toner I wanted in my highlights:, “You can’t have that.” Uh, what? She wouldn’t give me even the layers I wanted. Too bad as I could’ve been a good customer. I had a bad feeling as soon as she walked me to the chair. Next time I go with my gut. If it feels wrong I will give a tip & leave. I would never have to do that with this lady! ♥️
@@rockforester7908 the person who wrote the original comment said that her hairdresser wouldn’t cut a V-shape because the hairdresser didn’t like it. That’s wrong. Your hairdresser didn’t want to use toner in your thin hair as your hair is too vulnerable. And she wouldn’t cut layers into your thin hair because thinning already thin hair leaves it stringy and weird looking. That hairdresser cared about your hair but it seems like you were just very offended that they said that you had thin hair lol
@@rockforester7908 Your hairdresser was right since thin hair is vulnerable and easily breakable, and can’t handle the same toner and haircuts as thicker hair. It was for your own good. When I wanted layers my hairdresser bluntly told me that because of how thin my hair was, she wouldn’t cut layers into my hair because the layers would make my thin hair look so extremely thin that it would not look good. She even showed me how little hair would be left if she tried to cut layers. I appreciated her valuing the health of my hair over just listening to me, so I took her advice and allowed her to cut ALL my thin ends off and THEN cut beautiful layers into my hair. So your hairdresser was 100% right and I'm sure that the hairdresser in this video would refuse as well. Just because she says that people should "respect the customer's wishes" doesn't mean she's going to do things to your hair that she KNOWS will end up looking bad or damaging it. Refusing to cut layers into thin hair (or use toner) is not the same thing as refusing to cut long hair, as there's no negative consequence of cutting long hair.
@@sxxxxxlxxx I believe that was a not what you say but how you say it moment because as a cosmetologist I’ve seen clients that don’t understand what actually happens when I perform chemical processes on thin / thinning hair. Educate Advocate and Motivate.
You could see her smile through the mask! 🤗 I can only imagine a career that brings so much joy to people. Thank you for repeating this is what she wanted.
Mission accomplished from the moment you cut her hair she seemed happy and she helps to make someone else happy too - Another job well done. You are truly talented.
I want to skip to the end so bad so I can see the finished product (yes, I have zero patience) but im holding out and watching every second because I know your videos are so calming and satisfying. 💜
I feel her!!! Yes girl!!! I have same texture as her. My whole life I’ve had hair to my waist and beyond. No man (including my own brothers) would “allow” me to cut it. Personally, I thought it thinned way too much over the yrs. Even had the alopecia bald spot 3 diff times but it was thick enough to hide it and always grew back to full length. Finally, home alone, I chopped it to neck length with long layers. Got a pretty red auburn-ish color to liven it up and cover some new greys. Loved it immediately!!!! It’s been 2 yrs now and I’m quick to cut it once it gets too long. No regrets!! It’s sooo freeing!!!
@Mariah Fox really?? I luuuuuv my hair short. I cant find the right stylist to gimme a pixie cut. I once had an appt with Mary J. Blige stylist (when my hair was past my waist) drove 2 hrs to get a pixie cut. She wouldn’t cut it off. She said she didn’t wanna gimme a Waiting to Exhale cut just to have me cryin in her chair. 🤦🏻♀️
You shouldn’t let men control you and do what you want to do , long hair isn’t everything especially when it’s effecting your daily life, so happy you cut it in the end and feel happy ❤️
@@SportsandTrueCrime I follow a stylist on Tik Tok who told a story of a client who wanted a short cut then cried about it. Management felt sorry for her and didn't make her pay. Some people do get emotional after, but stylists shouldn't just shut you down because they're scared you'll hate it. People in the comments were suggesting the stylist should cut a few inches at a time to see how the client reacts instead of going straight for the entire length. Glad you like your short hair. That auburn color does sound really pretty.
@@hpr2008 Thats actually what she suggested but I declined for 2 reasons - she was almost a 2 hr drive away and I hate medium length hair. Luv it really long or really short. No offense to anybody. Lol.
Commenting again to say, I have very long hair and so many days I say I'm just over it and want it all cut off, but I relate so much to what you're saying because I "hide" behind my hair. It's a security thing for me. I've gained a good 30 pounds after my 2nd baby, who is 12 now and I have no excuses not to lose it. I'm afraid I won't feel pretty anymore if I cut it. People know me for having long hair and I get compliments on it, idk what people will compliment anymore if it's gone, but it does weigh me down. I've cut it short before when I was thinner, and I remember how freeing it felt, but I just can't bring myself to do it again.
I can totally understand. I always wear long hair when I'm heavier and short cuts when I'm smaller. Find a happy medium. Short hair is super sexy! 🙏🏾💜 Settle in the love you have for yourself and work on that. Then it won't matter if anyone compliments you or not simply because you absolutely love it.
Wow ,you hit right on the nose! You said everything I feel . I thought I was crazy for thinking I didn’t wanna cut my hair until I lost some weight, I also gained a lot of weight after my second child and my long hair is something I can hide behind until I loose weight unfortunately.
In my youth, I had hair down to the bottom of my rear and as a young adult to the belly button. I'd never had it shorter than that and for a long time the long hair was part of my identity. Finally at 29 (last year), I did the chop and cut my hair to the top of my shoulders. It was an IMPULSE decision, but I was certain of it. And then I dyed it ginger from my natural ashy blond. At such short length, my hair became wavy/curly, and I received so many compliments from it! It was a full transformation from long wavy ashy blond to short, curly ginger. I'd always recieved compliments on the length of my hair, but I think being sure of the change and loving it myself (and it DID look healthier freshly cut), the confidence exuded through my posture and smile. So a hair cut will look good if you wear it like you own it, i think. Having the short hair has fit in my lifestyle of fitness, too. Yesterday was my 1 year anniversary of exercising 3x a week. I chopped my hair off in late April 2021 and started exercising mid July 2021. It was time for changes in looks and lifestyle :) Your hair is part of you, but maybe if you're ready to open the door for new opportunities, you need to let go of some of your past self, too, and a haircut might do just that! Your hair has become attached to the guilt you have about weight gain, so it may no longer hold love/joy for you. Maybe if you cut the hair and love yourself a little more, you're freer to feel better and then set out to do better!!
I agree! Some people get so angry when they see other cut their hair especially when its long. It's always "omg" why would you do that to yourself, "there's no need to cut it"..etc. some people just blantly hate on them. I don't get it, if a person want to cut their hair they have the right to do so. Some people really need to be release from the shackles that long hair is necessity!
Her smile at the end made me want to cry! I am so happy to see her happy! I understand how it feels to have a beautiful baby and you don’t feel beautiful. I have had a baby every other year for the past 8 years & my hair is going through it! Tons of breakage, thin edges and temple. I used to have long, beautiful thick hair. This video gives me hope that I too will be able to confidently rock a style while my hair recovers. & thank you for all of the tips. I needed those.
I did the big chop just last week. Big chops videos used to annoy me because I could never imagine cutting my hair off like that. When I tell you I feel so amazing 😄 I didnt even cry and I always had a decent length of hair. But having 2 kids back to back, losing my sister, marriage issues, getting covid, and racially bullied and fired at my job left my skin, mind , and my hair awful condition. Cutting my hair was the only thing I had control on in the moment and I feel so much happier. I think I’ll rock short cuts for awhile to when it gets some length to it. Everyone should cut or shave their heads once in life. It’s hair, it’ll grow back
So sorry for the loss of your sister, I definitely understand. 🙏🏾🕊❤ You feel the weight of that stress leave with that hair and it's very symbolic! They say that "A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life!" and I've been in that place a time or two.
@@AdorzAaliyahSince94 i am sorry for all you are going through. I also have long Covid. And cut my hair off cause of it. It's been over two years since I got sick, and my hair has grown back. It's still not at the previous length, but it thick again. I salute you, as i did cry going through the hair loss.
I don’t know why but I just love watching people get their hair done. I guess it’s because it’s so relaxing. However, I had a bit of panic when that ponytail was cut! Beautifully done! Awesome job! ✅❤️🏆

Of course u can do what ever u want with your hair. Because we are not our Hair ! But cut it because u are simply tired of long hair & want to wear a new Style or just because! grace to all.gg
Sometimes you just want a change. Not everyone wants long hair forever. It’s okay to want to change I went from close to elbow length to midneck length.
OMG, her hair looks so beautiful before AND after!! It's just different styles, but her texture is beautiful, her color is beautiful, everything is beautiful.
I didn’t have hair quite that long, but it was almost waist length when my hair started thinning after having my child. Even my stylist was trying to convince me not to chop. But I didn’t want hair long enough to tempt me to put it in a pony or bun where my thinning could be noticed. I grabbed the scissors from her table and chopped a big piece off myself then said “it’s done, now please fix it and make it look cute.” Hair is JUST hair. If yours can’t grow long, get a wig. But don’t shame people who can grow long hair to keep it long for your enjoyment. I loved how bouncy my curls felt after that big chop and learned how to braid in extensions because now my hair was much shorter. That was 5 years ago and I recently did a big chop again because that long hair wasn’t giving what the short hair gave.
Ugh thats so true, some people are just so jealous of us who can grow nice hair long that they get so mad when we get rid of it, i like my hair but i do not miss the shower arm workouts and 6 hour air dry. And i am lucky to have straight hair w no frizz, i cant imagine having curls. Also dye jobs are less expensive now hehe
I'm not saying people are jealous of their hair can't grow. I think that came off wrong. There are many different reason why some people can't grow their hair super long and I'm saying that's okay. Hair is just hair. There are wigs, weaves, etc if you want the appearance of long hair but yours doesn't grow long. But just leave people and their hair alone, worry about your own.
@@afroborilafemme she just said “some people” can’t grow their hair out and hate on others. She never said that you said it. And she’s probably right, some people who can’t grow long hair probably are bitter when they see others cut theirs
@@sxxxxxlxxx I understood what she meant. I was clarifying my original comment because I don’t think it was clear that I also meant “some people”. Not everyone that has short hair wants long hair or is jealous of people with long hair. Main point is, at the end of the day, worry about your own hair and let people do with theirs whatever it is they’re going to do.
She looks absolutely gorgeous! I’m so glad she did what was best for her hair and her mind. I’ve had a super low cut a few times in life and I loved it! Your shower will be LEGENDARY! 🤣 If you’re thinking about cutting yours, I say DO IT!
Again, kudos to you for actually giving her what she asked for. It's so hard to find someone who is willing to cut that much off. As usual, Kee did her thing and it's beautiful 😍 Her smile at the end is everything! ❤️
@@sxxxxxlxxx I've found this to be the norm for anyone who has really long hair. I frequently let mine grow to the point where I can sit on my hair and when I'm ready to cut off my hair I can't find someone who will cut it short. They always want to cut off 6 inches or so max, especially in the black community. Like they're more attached to my hair than I am. I actually just recently did this and I had to go to two different stylist to get the length I wanted to be removed. That's why Kee had to say for people not to be upset that she was cutting this woman's hair.
My hair was down my back and it was just time to cut it and at the first cut I felt soooo free!!! It’s growing now and im like I gotta get back to my stylist ASAP🤣 For us who have never cut our hair before outside of a trim a cut is such a revitalizing experience💕
Sometimes when I feel sad your vids are the only thing that calms me down. It's not just about the hair but how you & your clients spread gentleness and peace and kindness.
Beautiful! I love a big chop! As women i think we wrap up too much of our identity in our hair (myself included). I can only imagine how much lighter and fresher this feels.
Awwe! She needed that so much. Look how happy and free she looks. I also lost hair with my children, it's really rough what we go through for our babies.
Being a multicultural woman, my hair is past my butt and I do get trims often because my hair grows out fast. I live in Switzerland and there are no black stylists so, that leaves me to fly to my cousin in Dubai to have my hair styled. He does an amazing job with it. ♥️
I had long hair unitl my daughter was born and then it started to fall out in chunks. I went to a stylist and she left my hair looking horrible (I looked like a mix between He-man and a palm tree), so I went to another stylist who had to shave my head in order to fix it. You did an amazing job with this client, no wonder she was all smiles at the end!
Loved her hair at the end! I’m sure she feels a great weight has been lifted from her. I don’t have kids but I can’t imagine having to raise a baby and deal with that hair. And with the breakage it’s better for the hair to start over. This style is much easier to maintain and makes her look more mature. She looked so happy in the end. Nice of her to donate her hair.
Her smile is EVERYTHING!!! The cut is soooo cute & I love that the hair donation is going to Wigs for Kids. I've seen a video of a young girl receiving her wig & putting it on.....TEARS & MORE TEARS...tears of joy & happiness. EVERYBODY was in tears. Your work is top notch & I love the commentary & advice.
Yay! I am so glad she donated the hair♥️. I donated mine to Children with Hair Loss and got a cut I LOVED! It is so true that a short cut where you can feel your head is liberating😊...I kept it for 2 years and accidentally started letting it grow back when none of us were going anywhere...
I donated 10 inches last December to Children with Hair Loss and it was my favorite haircut ever! Just knowing that my hair (which has never been “good hair”) would be helpful to someone made me feel so good! Plus, that specific company will take color treated, highlighted and *grey* hair too! Most won’t take hair that isn’t virgin hair or grey hair.
It's a blessing that someone thinks of another who has needs more than you. Giving something of yourself without hesitation is one of the most loving gifts ever. I commend you. Be blessed.
This was so awesome and brave of her. 🙌🏽 I get it....having a baby is exhausting in every aspect....even in our hair. So kudos to you and her. Both are beautiful 🥰. Great job👍🏽
finally a hairdresser aware enough to donate the massive amounts of hair being cut off 😌 i see so many videos on instagram chopping off like 20 inches and it all falls on the floor, gone to waste thank you ❤️
I grew up in a remote village in Europe with literally zero access to black hair care and products, if not for the Internet. Black hairstylists in big cities were mostly braiders and they never knew what to do with my hair texture. They were especially rough and handled my hair as if it was a wig. Some even cut natural hair with razors as they did synthetic hair. I tried a few different places and always felt like crying afterwards. When I was 14 (some 10+ years ago), and didn't know where to even start with my natural hair, out of despair, I tried going to a white owned hair salon in a frequented commercial area. As soon as I entered, every customer's head whipped in my direction. The hairstylists seemed panicked and one of them soon rushed towards me. She gestured for me to go, saying that they couldn't do anything for me. My hair was in a bun, she did not even check my hair texture. Also, my hair isn't even that curly, more wurly like 2 b? Some white women sitting had curlier hair than mine ...The way they kept staring at me as if I were some alien creature deeply traumatized me and I didn't dare step in a hair salon for many years after that "unfortunate" experience. As a biracial woman with thick/long hair, I wish I could have grown up in a place that is a safe space for us melanin girls. A place with talented, caring, non-prejudiced hair professionals. I have been watching your videos for years and honestly, your clients are very lucky. 💜❤️
I rocked a low cut for about 15 yrs..my hair is naturally curly so it wasn't a problem. But I loved loved my short cut...a man once said it takes a confident woman to rock a short natural style and he was trying to teach his daughter to embrace her natural hair...that made me feel good.
Her smile was EVERYTHING at the end of this video! I’ve never had a baby, but I have definitely shaved my head. I had short hair (like caesar cut short) for like 2 years. When I first went natural, I did a big chop, and it was very short. I’m so glad I did that because I wanted to try it and see how I felt. I loved it, but I also love having a little more hair now.
Just Beautiful! She is beaming!!! Blessings to her and her new addition! Hey Sis you owe us two opening inspirational quotes at the beginning of the next video! I look forward to those quotes!
I love how she looks with this new look ! Joy Reed’s style is so flattering and sleek, I hope she keeps it. My hair was long enough to sit on for many years and it was traumatic when I decided to cut it but it looked sooooo much better and the lighter weight was much easier on my neck. I support any person who wants to make a change, ain’t nobody else’s business the why.
Shave it!!! Omg, I definitely agree with trying new styles throughout your life. When I went to the barber the first time, he let me cut the first chunk to make sure I was ready. I wanted that hair O-F-F. The first year of my cut, every man I dated had hair longer than mine and I loved it😂. I like volume at the top with a fresh tapered fade now. I may grow it for another year or two, buzz it off again, and go blonde next time. Getting a new look is so refreshing!
Her hair is beautiful at any length! I can definitely see with a new baby how much you'd just be exhausted and tired of postpartum shedding etc. Long hair can get overwhelming
She can show her son this video when he's older to let him know how much she did to bring him into the world💕 Thank you for the calming and continually interesting content💜🙂🙋🏾♀️
So glad she made the decision to let go stress bcuz hair is alot to deal with& care for newborn & get your body, mind etc back together ❤️ . So beautiful she donated it to cancer children! Touching!

So nice that your client donated her hair, loved when she was shaking her head from side to side. The client looked amazing, you did a fantastic cut.
Thank you!
That cut was FIRE!!
I get it..I have locs..I already know I don't want them to be real long so ima have to take that chop..I commend her for donating her hair and not throwing it away..

It was the hair swing after the big cut for me! A weight was lifted and I could see that. I hope she enjoys it ❤️
Yes indeed.
So true, you never realise just how heavy hair is until you cut it off.
Very freeing 💇
I had breast cancer last year and went through chemo 6-8/21. Losing my hair didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I actually loved my bald head! Threw on my big earrings and out the door I'd go! Being bald was very freeing. My hair didn't start growing back til 1/22 and I was so tempted to stay hairless but I didn't.
I hope you are going strong, Sis. 💕
I understand...My hair has always been long I get bored and cut a bob every couple of years I've always want to just shave it off ....I think I'd feel free...other people are attached to my hair...I get tired of it
I hope your cancer free and doing well

My hair grew like this when I was pregnant! My doctor advised me to stay on my prenatal vitamins which help me. I did get a big chop and it grew right back. Funny when my stylist started cutting you would have thought time had stopped. Everybody paused!!! Somebody even commented that my husband was going to kill me. My response was, “he didn’t grow it!!!”
Good for you! People are so weird about cutting hair. It grows back people (unless you have an illness like alopecia) but it’s really not that deep. They were just projecting 🙄
That's crazy. Short hair is cute and her husband doesn't own your hair. Sick to even joke like that.
“your husband is going to kill you”?? what kinda toxic ass people is she hanging around? that’s some 19th century shit
wtf why would your husband have right to be mad about anything regarding your aparience
What people don’t realise is you had long hair all your life , you get tired of it , time for a change ( keep it moving)
That’s what I’m saying!!! I’ve had long hair for a long time and I got it cut really short a few months ago and agh it was the best

You are so right long hair can be annoying sometimes you want something different and if you miss it, buy some extensions easy nowadays😉😂
This is my belief as well and less hair means less work
Yesss!!
I LOVED my shaved head more than any other style I’ve had.
Exactly!!!!! I finally did the big chop, and everyone was why did you cut your hair...... it's just hair it will grow back. It's no BIG deal.
Yes but hair that long takes a decade or longer to grow back, so it’s not as simple as just trying out a new do. 😭
i'm glad you said "it's what she wants, how is it effecting you?" i went to get my hair cut a few years back from a new girl, and i wanted the v-shape in the back and the girl had the nerve to tell me she didnt like that style and then cut a blunt edge. like really lady? i'm paying you to do my hair, and you're giving me something else because you dont personally like that style? never went back to that salon. i know she's the professional and all, but i know my hair and i know i cant have a blunt cut because its too much hair and just gets to be too much in the front. i need that angle! sorry, rant over. you did an amazing job here.
That’s so weird! Who does that???

They’ll see past the long hair when it’s gone and complement you on your loving heart and personality 🥰

I grabbed the scissors from her table and chopped a big piece off myself then said “it’s done, now please fix it and make it look cute.”
Hair is JUST hair.
"shame"
I'm not saying people are jealous of their hair can't grow. I think that came off wrong. There are many different reason why some people can't grow their hair super long and I'm saying that's okay.
I personally love the natural hair, but HER happiness is what counts where this cut is concerned! Beautiful job!

Yup, I went thru hair loss last year and it's doing so well now. 💜
Yeah same here. I feel like that’s common after pregnancy
I'm glad you are ok.
How did you treat your anemia?? My hair seems to be thinning from it @ the crown 😩
@@strongfaith2377 i went through low iron and vit d deficiency after having my twins. for low anemia, try megafood blood builder iron pills. they brought my iron levels up to the higher end of normal in 2 months but i started noticing a difference in my hair in about 3-4 weeks.
As I get older with hormone changes, my hair has gone from straight/2a wave to 3a/b curl. I even found a 4a grey curl that I was VERY proud of!🥰 it's been a journey as I figure out how to embrace the texture and enjoy it!😁❤🍻
Me too! Big change
Same, but mine went from curly to straight.
I’m natural and my hair was past my shoulder blades and one day I just got sick of it and cut my hair down to 1 inch…honestly I think it was 1/2 inch. It was AWESOME! I felt free and light AND I no longer had to reserve an entire day to wash my hair. I loved it. I say if you want to cut..cut it, it will grow back.
That is some GORGEOUS hair, but I get how it must be so much work, especially with kids. Bless y'all for donating the length! The finished style is so pretty!
I’m sorry I did skip through somewhat… but damn that style was waiting for her!!! She’s gorgeous with that style
💯💯💯
How beautiful. What I love most about you is the genuine care you have for people and their hair.
I love it when you give the interesting facts about hair. The whole pregnancy impact on hair was super interesting!
Her happiness is what matters and she is glowing
Awww seeing her smile at the end made me sooo happy ☺️
Every once in a while, I like to stop by and watch one of your vids. I feel like I’m just hanging out in the salon when you talk. You just have a very comfortable presence. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. This channel is one of my, like, comfort hang-outs.
I love that she donated her beautiful hair! I donated 14 inches a couple years ago. Working on growing it out again. ❤️ Congrats on the new baby!
Her hair was and turned out absolutely gorgeous! I think some people get upset (and comment about it) when they realize that somebody is cutting long beautiful hair because they feel entitled to look at their beauty and therefore exert control over the other person.
I appreciate your approach. Sticking to the basics and going through your process. And, as always, a beautiful finish!
She looks gorgeous with her new hair cut! And best of all was her smile!
Good for her! She looks AMAZING, and you can tell from that brilliant smile that she KNOWS IT. Thanks so much for helping her!
She did look happy, and that is really what it’s about. I did that after my baby. Cut all my hair off, and changed my look up. I felt better, and I improved in life/work. Really does make a huge difference.
Love the video. Thanks for sharing. I had a huge smile along with her.
When I saw this video on IG I quickly got off and said to myself.......I'll wait to see it on TH-cam! She basically did a BIG chop! And it looks so good! I love your videos and your work! It makes me miss being a hairstylist.
You are Soo Real. Soo Humble. A Blessed Spirit .I just turned 70.
But you've got me thinking. I wanna be like you when I grow up.
May God bless You and Everyone you Love. Continue to allow yourself to be led.
Thank you so much Ms.Karen! 💜 May God bless you as well!
Love how this turned out. Thanks for sharing! Great Job!
Awww you made her so happy her hair looks beautiful
Go her! When I was in college I wanted to cut off the LONG hair I’d had all through high school and made the decision to donate the tail.knowing that by adjusting your life to something you can manage better you are helping another in the process is a blessing. I see donating hair right up there with donating gently used clothing and furniture to organizations that help those in need. And she couldn’t have a better soul walking her through the journey!
you soooo effortlessly, do hair it seems. Like a ballerina makes her dance look so easy. And your 'talk', so peaceful, so relaxed!! TALENTED LADY
Love this! I love everything you do! Being a cosmetology instructor, I hope all students/ beginner beauty professionals discover your resources and info💚💚 I aspire to have a educational channel like yours!!!!!
Yes! You should totally do one! I would watch every single video!
This young lady has gorgeous hair … both before the cut and after. Loved the end result ❤❤
