It gives off the impression of exposing the lies of Illumination, showing us what they never wanted us to see in their movie from 11 years ago.
Okay one thing i love is how the sort of poppy, bright precussion of How Bad is recontextualised against the darker lyrics and instrumentation to sound more akin to a facsist, industrial march

I love this, it comes across and an old Onceler reflecting on his past mistakes, seeing through all of his past self’s excuses and realizing who he truly was back then
How bad can I possible be is just like “Nuuu it was my destiny I didn’t knew it was bad 😭😭😭😭” Biggering is “Proper explanation to cooperate greed where they care more about profits than anyhting” A mash up would either be corruption of once-ler going from “It’s my destiny” to “Look at my profits” Or it could be he is aware what he is doing is bad and just doesn’t want to stop so he doesn’t lose money
if you think about it, the darker voice of Biggering could act as Once-ler's internal greed being fed as he's getting bigger and stronger, while How Bad Can I Be shows his denial, knowing the damage he's doing but ignores it and still going anyway, both parts contrasting each other until it reaches the climax when it reaches the top becoming what the Lorax feared of him.
This just feels like a man who’s already gone through the mistake of greed trying to prevent the same mistake being made by a younger person, I guess if the onceler got to meet his younger self this would be what it’s like
Both how bad can i be and biggering should have been in the film. Would havw went well as a descent madness for onceler's villain arc in the film. Biggering would have been a darker reprise.

When you think about it they’re basically the same song with minor differences when you look at the lyrics But with small lyrics changes and a drastically different tone the original point was lost I’m rambling. This worked masterfully
I really feel that the movie could have worked with both HBCIB and Biggering in it, with the former being played when the Once-ler just starts chopping down the first trees while biggering plays when his company has grown and he's getting a lot of money, but is too caught up in his success to care about the damage he's doing to the environment, which would have grown well out of control.
