We felt like power level is close. Maybe just a bit more powerful feeling with the Pure Drive, whereas the EZONE has a bit more controllable power, as playtester Brittany often mentions. Troy, TW
Stay tuned for the written review, hopefully on our site in the next couple of weeks. I think if you just want that raw and easy access to power, it's still hard to beat the Pure Drive. However, we find the EZONE 100 to more comfortable, offering a bit more of that plush feel, and it packs power but with a bit more of a controllable feel to it. Hope that helps. Troy, TW
so what are the differences compared to the previous gen? Plusher feel, is that all? Not that we'd need more changes, since the previous gen was fine as it is.
Biggest changes are the frame geometry -- they thickened the beam in the upper hoop for power and stability, added a groove to the inner portion of the frame for flex and then added a new material called Minolon to help dampen vibrations. Hey TW! The website has listed the 2025 Ezone 100 as one of the best "arm friendly" racquets for intermediates. I am curious if that is correct given the 68 stiffness rating? Is it more comfortable than the VCORE 100 for instance (65 stiffness rating)?
ok got a couple of questions, for a flat hitting allcourt player that also needs comfort and ease of use since i am 64 now which would you say would be the more appropriate racket out of this Yonex & the T Fight 100? I know Chris has moved to the T fight 10.
The paintjob is pretty ugly. Looks pretty cartoony. Too purple and feminine. Almost like a little kids’ racquet color design. Dark blue with purple accents would work better.
wish they went full purple and green and called it the UNIT-01 😂
Crikey an RA of 68 sounds high. Will be interesting to see how people get on with comfort when it goes on sale soon.
I think that's a typo tbh everything I've seen says it's about 58 RA, they made it softer not stiffer.
@asthmaticrhino hope you are right, not that many rackets below 60 RA though! The current Ezone 100 is 67 RA so not convinced it's a typo?!
when will the 7th gen ezones go on sale?
Tbh I will wait for the next model, this paint job simply didn't grow on me...
Will the previous generation go on sale?
Nice review! The product page isn’t up as of Jan 2?
Available Jan 10th
The new EZONE racquets will go live on our website Jan 10th. Stay tuned!
How does this Ezone 100 compare to the new PD?
Great question.
Thanks for the review. Does this new Ezone 100 have more or less power than new Pure Drive 100? Thanks.

@@tenniswarehouse Many thanks for your reply.
How do you compare it with the VCore100? Thanks and congrats for your videos
Isn’t this the one that Madison Keys is using? She’s been playing so powerful with the new racket lately
The previous generation paint job looks better than new one…
Hi! Thanks for the review! When will the written version be available? And which do you prefer vs new Pure Drive 100 ?

What does the 'E' stand for on Yonex's 'E'zone tennis racquet? Is it stands for Energy-Zone?
Easy. Its supposed to be easy one.
What about Power, soft and comfort of this racquet?
Never realized how low the fence at that California court is... do you guys have to hold back from hitting the big overheads haha
Nope. We just spend the next 15 minutes looking for the ball, ha ha. Cheers, Chris, TW
🤦 "I've never seen this blue on the court." Then plays on a blue court, wearing a blue shirt and blue Tennis Warehouse logo behind.
ugly paintjob
