Dear Thu, thank you for sharing your guidence. As being an aspiring data scientist, it would be a lot of confusion on path what to learn and what not to. Your video covers it well. I find it is a good guidence to me. Thanks
@@Thuvu5 No, its not that long. The good thing about this is that it's interesting and enlightening , so the viewers ( especially the aspiring data scientist) doesn't feel its long at all. Thank you very much.
Hi Thu, you are AMAZINGGGG!! i was just looking for a video like this and you uploaded it. cannot thank you enough!! your videos so informative! so focused directionally and full of personal experiences!!! and could not find any other person sharing such information!! thank you for sharing all of this!!!
Thank you for the advice, I think to me the key take away was to learn things and not worry about the order. If I want to learn clustering today and bayes theorem next week that's fine. I struggle learning single subjects like statistics from top to bottom, especially without a paid degree to guide me. I found that when I learn one thing i'm thinking about all the other things that I need to also learn and get scattered, so I think if I'll just learn whatever I want that day and then something else another day then overall I should get a good picture. Also it's impossible to just to just know it all. Great video, thanks!
Absolutely agree with you Dawid! Sometimes we just worry too much and let it get in our way to just learn something. It will all come together with time 🙌
Know thy yourself was eye opening. I am kitsune type, you being the same type and sharing your experience gave me self belief and direction. I would get bored and stop learning but now I know how to get back. Thank you for the video! 🎉
Watching your videos gives me inspiration to keep going and avoid total burnout. I let go software engineering bootcamp for data science. Hence your videos also contribute to my productive day and my mental health.
Great video. Like how you ranked the different roles and the increasing complexities that you have to deal with. I also have an economics background and trying to break into Data science. Will be keenly watching all your tips
@@Thuvu5 well so how do you started data science which is better programming language python or R or something else what will you suggest to a beginner
Excellent video! I love how you presented the content...it's packed full of information and you get straight to the point with interesting graphics. There's lot's of value add in this 14 min video. Great work putting this together! subbed :)
Thank you so muchh for your great sharing!! Its really useful for me since i just started learning data analysis for my career change. Really love the content
Amazing video, but how did you create your cheatsheets ? I saw it's was very well organized, i'm struggling to find an app to organize my notes across devices.
Another amazing video!! I love it so much 😍 I think I'm a Kitsune as well. No wonder why I can't remember anything. And I also have my personal cheatsheets for Git and command line code 🤝
Hey Sophia, haha really!! I’m so glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t remember stuff 🙈. Oh and your cheatsheets.. It’s funny we both do this hahaha. Thanks so much for checking out the video! Looking forward to seeing your next vid as well! Just saw your new Medium article, looks super interesting! 🙌🙌
BEcause you are VN. I suggest you take "rau ma" aka Gotu Kola, get the extract liquid . Just a few drops to 10 drops a day will prevent the AI burnout. And will keep your memory fresh & coll the brain, and also detox the side effect of coffee and junk food. I enjoy learning AI from you video,
This is really a great and helpful video for beginners (like myself). I have 2 months before my college starts so in mean time I should learn 1. Basic python programming 2. SQL 3. Statistics. 4. Excel? (Is Excel important or useful for Data scientists Or analyst?). Anyway thanks for the Video. 👍
I LOVE your contents Thu, especially your explanation about frontend/backend DS!❤ Curious to know how do you plan your days to both learn theory and apply it in a project?
I have started watching your videos. Also want to move into Data analytics, I’m in Quality engineering so Statistics are broadly used. Like your content quite useful. Greetings from Melbourne 😊
I have economics degree and I spent a 7 month learning learning programing ...but web development html css js data structure basics with Cs50 its easy for me to shift to data since

11:20. You have great videos but can I please ask you slow things down a little or make it more clear what your talking about, maybe use more text on screen or something? I think a lot of newbies watch your video, like me, so we are not as familiar with all the concepts as you might be. 12:32 another example... what site is that? I can't follow you....

I am similar type. I learn quickly, understand quickly and forget also quickly.. Can you please advice how to keep the learnings over long period of time, because till time I reach for interviews I believe everything will vanish off my mind!
Hey Shifa, thanks for tuning in! I mostly rely on my notes (physical and digital) to remember things, haha. I know if I don’t take notes, I will forget almost everything 🙈
"You have to be a student all the time.". I do agree with short burst and getting bored quickly. 😅 That's why I also like data science. Very versatile and broad in its area. 😁
Hi Thu, I really love what you are doing. Can we get access to your github. I tried to follow along the TH-cam analysis video but couldn't get it right
For DS, I have your videos and recommendations, so worries. But the only other question I have is, Are you Single ☺️...or 🤔 My Respects to you, for the great work and efforts you are putting in sharing you knowledge and experiences with DS.
Well for starters it looks like, according to the clock, you woke up at 12:10pm. There's your problem. You're not running out of time to learn data science. You just need to wake up earlier, at a more reasonable hour. ;)
I often try to share your videos on LinkedIn but I think you neve see when I tag you. But anyway, this video seems a little too broad. Starts with talking about what things to learn then doesn't really give solid tips until halfway through the video. Think you could have broken this up into two videos.
THIS is the video everyone should watch when starting to learn data science! 🤓
So many great lessons in this, Thu!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
The legend!! Hopping over to your channel during my next break.
Thanks so much for checking it out, Luke! The legend 🙌🏽🤩
I don’t know why I’m so much addicted to see you and your video.

I’m a Kisune too. I peeked at your cheer sheet . It’s actually things I usually forgot. Can I have your cheer sheets😊?
This is just excellent, bravo for packaging so much information and insights in such short time and positive energy! Thank you, Thu.
Hey Stavros! Thanks for your kind comment! Yeah I have a habit of packing too much in a video, this is way longer than I would have liked it to be 🫣

I just ran across this video a year later and am so thankful for this info.
i think to move faster u have to make your basics strong (python DS, ML concepts, SQL concepts etc) some error can be solved if the basics is clear.
Totally agreed, Arun!
