- RVing British Columbia should be on everyone’s travel list! The beauty of Vancouver Island is never ending… but the city of Vancouver BC is equally amazing for the city life. In this episode we start out hiking Elk Falls Suspension Bridge and then check out the Parksville sand castle competition before visiting Coombs BC to see the infamous Goats on a Roof. After leaving the island, we hit the city of Vancouver Island fast and hard with a bit of shopping in Gastown and then do a meet-up at Stanley Park in the Rose Garden. To wrap things up, we visit Capilano Suspension Bridge to do the Tree Top Adventure park and cliff walk.

I visited the Capilano Bridge as a kid with my parents, still fond memories 40 years later...definitely going back for a visit the near future.
We went on vacation this October so I am just catching up with Season 3.. We went on a road trip to California passing through Highway 101 ..we were able to visit some friends as well ...we did go to Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo since I saw your videos but missed Sur because they are repairing it...it was awesome ...we went as far as San Francisco...had to turn back because our vacation had to come to an end...am loving all your Canadian videos...love Banff,Vancouver and I believe everything...been to Canada but not Vancouver...with all your tips and places you have been I believe we will do that ..thank you for all these videos...my husband and kids are enjoying them since I got them hooked on it....we traveled as a family since they were kids and they do treasure every moment of it aside from sometimes bickering. Can't wait to see what Season 4 brings...travel safe and God Bless.

That said...next time your up this way, feel free to get in touch...I can be a bit of a tour guide if you like, the off the beaten path things that aren't on the main drags things you might never see!

We went to Vancouver and the Island in 2018 we have family there and did a lot of the same things. So fun seeing it all again! Next time we will bring the RV. I think the Gaslight district reminded me of San Francisco where I grew up. In the summer near Surrey they have the Richmond Night Market, it is a foodies heaven. Something to add to your list the next time you are there.

You were in 'Gastown' Vancouver, highly touristy but interesting. The bronze statue was "Gassy Jack'. btw, the original country of Canada was Kanata, originated by the Indiginous a couple hundred years ago. Thank you for showcasing our beautiful West Coast!

We've owned a travel trailer for 6 summers now, but have only used it as a "summer house" at a nearby campground. You've inspired us to prep it and start exploring our region. Thank you for the inspiration, and all of the helpful tips. Also, your family is beautiful. :) Can't wait for the next episode.

If you have time check out Grouse Mtn. Take the tram on a clear night. You can see all of Vancouver and down into Bellingham.

Hey Guys! When you head up to whistler, be sure to go another twenty minutes north to the town of Pemberton! (My hometown) You will get out of the typical tourist traps of whistler, and you can head up to Joffree Lake hikes (Super Busy) or to Rhor ridge/lake( Same beautiful blue lakes, but 1/100th of the people) it's beautiful! Pemberton is beautiful and has a lot of amazing food and camping! Check out Mile One and Blackbird Bakery! The whole Sea to Sky are is absolutely beautiful (Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton) let me know if you guys want any suggestions for hikes or places to visit!
Thanks for another great vlog. I feel you're pain with "diets"... it seems like my sense of smell becomes that of a canine and I hunt down my favorites to torture myself with them. But I have to be careful with my thyroid issues a lot of the time. But.....food..all the yummy...food. Bungee jumping sounds amazeballs. Took my bro skydiving as his HS graduation gift this last June. His words once landed "Why doesn't everyone do this?" You guys are creating little adventure loving people and that is wonderful to watch.

Awesome, as always. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has things go wrong, which lately has been every time it's "stairs up". Which, also, is why I'm sitting, stuck at a closed truck stop in Valdosta, Ga with Hurr. Irma headed my way. At least I made it out of FL. Barely. BTW the bakeries are my weakness, too. I just love walking in the door of those places; The look of everything and the smells. Wonderful. Can't wait to see the bungee jump. That's gonna be epic. Good Luck. Probably past tense, eh?

Not sure if you have been to the St Lawrence river. But it definitely should be in a future itinerary.... you can go on the Canada side or NY side it's absolutely beautiful and full of history...Boldt Castle is a must!

So I was doing some research on buying a Camper Trailer and I came across your channel. I have to say that you guys are awsome. Thank you for you vlogs. The have helped me with my choice on a trailer. I have to say that your family hooked me into watching all your videos in about 2 weeks. When I got to the video about Maddie I will not lie and shed some tears. I can tell that you all loved her very much. I was wondering if you have ever stayed in Pirates Cove near the Az / Ca border. I have herd great things about it. I wish you guys all the success. I will be starting a channel on RVing as soon as we get our trailer. You guys have helped me out. I have learned so much with what to do and not to do I will be only a weekend RVer but that is fine with me in the future I would love to do it more but the job that I have as a mechanic it would be a little difficult to do that. I am looking for a job that would allow that. Thank you for all the work you do with this channel.

Thanks Lee. You'll love it. The channel is a lot of work. Like a lot. We're 30+ hours per week. 20 hrs of editing in each video. But it forces us to get out and explore to make videos. The community is wonderful. We've never stayed near Pirates Cove. I'll have to look it up.

Honestly... nauseating :) The cliff walk was the best. A thin walkway and a stable surface.
Marc - you might want to think about switching to LED bulbs so you can leave your 4-ways on longer!
You guys ought to get a NOCO genius boost battery jump starter. Jump your truck AND a USB charger when you're off grid! Mine has held a charge for at least 6 months without use too. No more lugging around those clunky cables!

You should pickup one of those jump packs at Auto zone or a car shop. For emergency in case your battery drains you can use it for a jump if there are no cars to help you out.
