The least expensive cities to live in tend to be on the northern part of the island, with a few exceptions. Note that these communities might not be the right fit for everyone, and there can be additional costs or challenges with living in these locations. However, for the right person that’s looking to buy a home and can either work remotely or has a business idea that would fit the area, this can be a great way to buy some real estate. Tahsis pop 200. also very hard to drive to. about 40 miles of Bad road (Dueane Eddy likes it) You leve the blacktop at Gold River and drive maybe 1: and ten mins. Gold River = 1:15 from Campbell River.
Buy real estate from someone who does not know the difference between a city, a town and a village
Port Alberni has something for everyone, if you're looking for a high crime rate.
Zeballos Population 170. Try to drive there. Amost inaccesable. Gold River = Ghost town. last time I heard, RBC had closed it's ATM center. So forget those two. Port McNeil is a beautiful spot wiht a bout 2000 people. BUTno rec center no weight room on the whole north end pf the Island. and it rains 140 inches a year in Port mac. more in Port alice and P Hardy. No work in port Alice, last time i looked. Pretty spot, though.. when it isn't raining. lol. Port Alberni is my choice
There is no pulp mill in Port Alice, hasn't been for years. This guy is your typical realtor ... 'buy a house from me, anywhere' .... 🤣🤣🤣
Bc assessment is not about accurate reflection on V.I. land prices. Check actual listing. It's about one hundred thousand more than he says it is.
And it's pronounced Zeebaalous. Not zebelous.
I wouldn't call any of these places cities, other than maybe Duncan.

You don't show WHERE any of these communities are on the island, you don't show much of the communities, you don't give an idea of typical listings or quality of homes in the area, you don't give any information on services available in the area... in fact you don't say much of anything. I stopped watching your vid less than 2 mins in.
Just stay away from V.Island you save the most.
