Thank you for your time and the instructive content. Would you be able to do a tutorial on the progressive collapse of frame structures in SeismoStruct?
Dear I assumed to apply 5% drift of the building as a pushover displacement . It means to determine the top-roof displacement. Now the drift will be displacement/total height of the building *100.
My roof displacement is 10.07mm and total height of the building is 63m. So if I do it according to the formula you stated above it comes out to be 15.98 only? Is this correct? I am sorry for all the questions.
Null steps are formed in pushover analysis.. As i noticed push over will not properly run if null steps forms. Kindly explain the reason of formation of null steps if u knows..
In pushover analysis, "null steps" typically refer to analysis steps where the load applied to the structure remains constant. These constant load steps help simulate the effects of a gradual increase in lateral loads on a structure, which is useful for assessing its performance under seismic or other dynamic loading conditions.
Nonlinear analysis and modeling often involve convergence issues, and it's normal to have some warning messages during the process. However, if your model produces errors, it's crucial to investigate and troubleshoot the source of the problem.
Hello brother..How can I remove this error from abaqus model ......please guide 14698 nodes on an embedded element do not lie in any host element. Check coordinates, exterior tolerance and absolute exterior tolerance parameters, and the host element set definition. The nodes have been identified in node set ErrNodeEmbeddedNode.
Hi dear, some of your rebars are outside the concrete which is not created an embedded region. So make shorter the rebars and let the concrete covers them properly.
Thank you for your time and the instructive content.
Would you be able to do a tutorial on the progressive collapse of frame structures in SeismoStruct?
I will see, keep tuned

Wonderful video. Please, can you suggest me a good master thesis topic on pushover analysis?
Pushover analysis application on the earthquake assessment of infrastructure “ steel structures, RC structures, bridges so on “.
@@KSSE_Engineer Thank you Sir
Thank you for the video. I have a question regarding how you find the 5% of the total drift of the building in etabs ?

I do appreciate your work. But why are warnings shown because when i run, there are also warning like this?

@@KSSE_Engineer So if we set convergence number higher, the analysis might not have the warning right?

@@KSSE_Engineer Okay Noted,,,,,,,Thank you brother
Brother, could you please check my model this error shows repeatedly.I have developed so many time
You can join our membership program and send me your model via email.
@@KSSE_Engineer sure..What is the procedure to join the membership program? I have sent a model via email please check.
