Hello maam Ana! In the first few years i did not harvest the nests so that the birds colony will not be disturbed and hence will produce more offspring. I started to harvest on the 4th year twice a year and on the 8th year i found that my birds house is full of nest already so i harvest it monthly until today. To have more birds, you have to wait more time.
Sorry sir for the late reply, i started this in the year 2012. The population, i think not less than 10k. Not so many birds her, i got this birds from malaysia.
I think less than 100 birds. It's normal that in the first few months only few birds flew in the house. In the succeeding months & years, the birds will multiply until such time your house will be fully occupied. It's better to start harvesting when the birds have more than 200 nests.

The primary purpose of the farm is the edible nest produces by swiftlet birds and we harvest evry 45 days for food. And second is the manure droopings use for fertilizer.
I did'nt use sounds sir. I aquired my brids from malaysia, birds that produces first class edible nest. The sounds from my video is the actual sounds of the birds.

We can harvest 4k to 12k per month, depending on the season. Sometimes we can harvest many but not always it depend on the season sir.
