halo, do u have any suggestion on how to increase swiflet population? maybe by using some kind of misting, parfume,etc base on your knowledge? thankyou
Swiftlet farming needs time so that birds colony will increase. For me the best way so that the birds colony will rapidly increase, do not always go inside your building, once a month is okay. So that you cannot disturb their colony and they can multiply in numbers. I don’t use any perfume, instead i use their manure droppings. For me that’s the best to attract other birds to enter your birds house

In my first building i started to harvest 7 to 8 years because during that time there is no swiftlet in our area I brought birds here imported from Malaysia because we didn’t have swiftlet species that produce edible nest. But in my new birds house I think i can start to harvest in 2 to 3 years from the start of operation or open for the birds.

I think that during that time no swiftlet in our area that produces edible white nest. I saw some birds also the same in size, color and behavior in flying. But not the same species because I found their colony under the bridge. Not white nest birds
