Not really man, you kind of just made lame jokes, didn't really explore the diversity of each patch, you talked smack about a bunch of them, you tried to make some of the patches purposely sound like crap, and you skipped right over the fuzz. Which is what I wanted to hear.
I understand this is just a demo of the regular pedals, but using the Horizon Point Drive in front of a 5150 or Orange Rockerverb adds a really great bite for modern metal/metalcore that I absolutely love
That SD-1 was my go to back in the day and I thought it was the best sound ever. Man 30 years later hearing it now was painful. Kind of like watching CHiPS 30 years later... or any show from that era really
Demoing drives is a slippery slope, especially if it's a drive you don't have a lot of experience with. So many of them have little ideocincracies that are vital to get them sounding right. I have the Sd-1 and also HX stomp xl (which uses pretty much the same effects as the pod go) and it's pretty accurate. The thing about that particular pedal: the best use is in front of something like a Jcm800 with moderate gain..sd-1 set volume max drive almost 0. A lot of drives only sound good with amps that have a certain voicing. You did a great job! I was pointing it out though, because it IS extremely specific getting the most out of certain drives.
Yeah there was no time but some of them need to be explored pushing already mid or high gain sounds! And yes so many of these I know squat doodly about! Thanks!
wanna do all the effects and amp models? this is exactly how i would be doing this down to the e13 chord. its like im testing it but not having to do any work. great video
I have not tried the line 6 ,Alan. But, I do have two Boss multipedals, including the ME80, which I run in a chain on two different pedal boards. I agree, the Timmy was best.
Do you like gear reviews and demos? Of course you do! Check out the full playlist here! th-cam.com/play/PLJ7bQFZhdVlM7HBhb45mPk_mPBJMD9ZJR.html

Fair enough- I had to try not to make an hour long video but shouldn’t have skipped the fuzz. The lame jokes I’m sticking with though
5:50 You can also click the knob to go back to the default setting.
Thank you for going through each OD and showing the real one.
Oh man - great tip! Thank you! Would love to have you subscribe if not already! This week I did all the mod pedals

Yeah I need to get back to this. It just sits
The POD sounded better than i thought it would, now you need to do a video on the fuzz section and why it sucks lol
Lol - yeah I may go back in and see what’s what with the fuzzes
I have that Charvelle... in transparent figured blue burst... simply awesome guitar
I know it’s one of my favorites!
Get it plek'd...

Adam 12 was worse, less hot chicks 😂
I got my wife some Hardy Boys on DVD because she loved it back in the day but it was sooooo bad lol

Yeah I might have to seek one out! Timmy!!!
Although I really appreciate the effort, a simple A, E, or G chords would have been nice too.
Now simple I can do! 🤘🏻
You forgot the DELTA-8 Gummy pedal.
Lol- there is also a Bath Salts Overdrive
