- Kitten and Cat !! Like a little and big brother! Ever since Indy (the funny and smart kitten) came to our house, he'd been trying to make Santi (the big fluffy white cat) like him by following him everywhere, sleeping next to him in the cutest positions and copying the things he does in a funny way.. But none of those worked!
Then one day, Indy did something that Santi had always been wanting to do! He opened a door that was not meant to be opened! And I think on that day, Santi finally accepted Indy as an annoying-but-sometimes-useful little brother! :)

About Our Channel:
This channel is about the daily lives and adventures of my two indoor cats Santi & Indy and our 9 outdoor cats and my dog Walter.
Santi (8) and Indy (1) live with me in my house and Walter (7) lives in my garden.
And we have 9 outdoor cats living in my dad's garden. Their names are; D'Artagnan, The Rolling Cat, The Purring Cat, D'Artagnan's girlfriend, Porthos, Zoom, Junior, The Mom Cat and The Big Head.
Apart from their videos, from time to time I also upload videos of other animals I come across.
So basically, what you'll find here are lots of funny and cute cat videos, an ongoing miniseries about a cat love drama, sometimes rescue stories and always a whole lot of meowing! Enjoy! #waltersanti

You know, Saving Indy was probably the best thing you did. He turned out to be an all-rounder with a lovely personality and skills. And his intelligence is waaay beyond ordinary. Glad he got such a wonderful chance at life.

Yup, he does looking up to Santi figuratively and literally.
Poor Santi! He gets so irritated that his fur stands on end! Must be super stressful for him.. Indy just likes him, and wants to play! It ends well with Indy’s super problem solving abilities! However, when Chewie comes along, Indy gets pay-back! And, Santi gets some peace!
Thank you "walter-santi" for caring, treating, loving this poor sick little kitten. There is a special place in heaven for animal lovers. And a special thanks for adding him to your wonderful home crew. Indy and Santi are such special creatures, we all love them so much and are looking forward to seeing them again. Can't wait for more more adventures of our favorite felines.
I just love that Indy copied Santi by laying in his cat bed on the cat tree with his legs stretched out. Adorable. And when Indy got the door open, he was gracious enough to open in a wide sweeping gesture for Santi. 😺💞

That's very common when there's a drastic age difference. I sometimes feel bad that Santi's mellow life was upended. It's a huge adjustment.
They seem to be figuring it out, albeit slowly because, of course. :) In another year an a half or two, Indy will calm down a bit and they'll probably grow closer. 😻

Loved your comment Taydra. A few years ago I adopted a feral mother and her kitten. When the kitten (Orlando) was just short of a year old, I had to have my right hip replaced. Two days after I got home from the hospital he presumably jumped down from something (never saw it happen) and broke his right hip. He had surgery and is fine now but when I told everyone what had happened I made sure to point out what a 'copycat' he was. 😸

Little cats tend to try to befriend a stronger bigger cat. I se it in my neighbourhood. I once approached a lovely little black cat, because he reminded me of my own black cat , when he was 4 moths old .... but that cat immediately ran away and as I was watching the kitten going to a terasse I saw him miowing loudly until a huge cat came out of the door and stood there watching me .... It was clear the little one wasnt sure what my intentions were and called his big buddy for help .... That was really amazing to see .... of course I retreted immediately because I didnt want to agrevate the cats more than nescesary ...

Indy is awesome! He learned how to open the door himself! My little Becky (who lived to be 21 years 7.5 months) spent 19 of those years trying to get ME to open my bedroom door for her... She'd claw at the strip of wood running down the side of the doorframe (the strip that stops the door when it closes) to let me know she wanted in. Sometimes, I'd open the door, others I'd ignore her persistent bang-bang-bang on the wooden strip. She never gave up. Nineteen years later, the bang-bang-bang suddenly gave a clattering wooden BOING! I went to see what had happened, and found Becky in the hall, looking quite proud of herself -- she'd managed to pull the nails completely out of the doorframe, and the wooden strip was dangling loosely beside the doorframe!!! But mainly, she was proud of the fact that she'd MADE me open the door that I'd been determined to keep closed while I was working that night! Becky had spent 19 years systematically loosening that wooden strip; 19 years to sudden VICTORY! (I never could get the strip nailed completely back after that!) 😺💕🐾😊

The best thing our cats, our wonderful pets can do for us is ease our anxiety and confusion with all this Coronavirus stuff going on in the world. I have one pet cat James a ginger and white one like Indy, my neighbours cat Mocca who visits me every day and a new edition in my neighbourhood, little Theo came to visit me today from another neighbour. I pick them up and give them hugs and cuddles. In my country Australia, our government brought in a policy of being 1 meter and 1/2 distance away from one another in public when doing groceries etc and social isolate. Praise God for our pet cats we keep.
