Jack Hyles was a pastor, friend to preachers, and author. Perhaps his greatest impact was his fiery yet practical preaching that was unmistakably anointed by the Holy Spirit.
Jack Hyles was a leading figure in the Independent Baptist movement. He was considered by many the greatest fundamental influence of the last century. His impact was lasting; and even after his death, his books and sermons are still influencing another generation.

It is tough to hear Dr Hyles talk about Dr. Evans the way he does after reading Dr. Evans' statement that Brother Hyles ignored what he had to say about Dave Hyles and Dr. Evan's daughter. It makes me wonder how much Dr. Hyles really did love and respect Dr Evans.

You need to listen to this again, he wasn't talking bad about Dr. Evens, he respected that man and loved him very dearly.

I think you misunderstand what I wrote. Dr. Hyles spoke very highly of Dr. Evans many times, but Dr. Evans has come out and said Dr. Hyles ignored the fact that Dave Hyles was sexually assaulting his daughter. It makes me wonder how much Dr. Hyles truly loved a man if he ignored what was going on.
