    I know most of the words mentioned in the lesson and the ones those I did not know they were new to me. This video granted the opportunity to know both the meaning and pronunciation of them! Teacher Lisa thank you so much ❤️!

    I’ve learned some new words, such as charlatan, and have corrected my pronunciations, such as upon chauffeur, through this video! Thank you, Teacher Lisa!
    I went to take some basic French courses for improving my English ability, and I thought it works! Because when I spot a French word, I kind of feel it is a French word, and would pronounce the ch as sh, and most of the time, it was correct!🤭🥰🥰❤️❤️🙏🙏
    Thank you, Lisa, again!

I've been following this channel since day one when I moved to the USA 9 years ago and I can firmly say that a massive piece of achievements in English I've got is because of Lisa's channel. Thank you, teacher, for making the adventure of learning a foreign language very pleasant and most importantly for me interesting!!! You motivate people to learn and improve even harder. In Brazilian Portuguese we have lots of several words borrowed from English and sometimes they have a similar meaning, such as in lunch, we say lanche meaning snack, with a ʃ or sh sound, in some other cases have a different meaning, in order to say to work from home or remote work we say in Portuguese "home office" in English it means the furniture specifically for office use, and also we speak the word "outdoor" in my native language meaning billboards.

    • @AccurateEnglish
      @AccurateEnglish  ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s interesting about Portuguese words borrowed from English. I had heard about “home office” before, but not about how the word “outdoor” is used.
