you should check out zines! they're not coloring books but they're really cool because a bunch of artists collaborate to make a book with drawings and stuff
Yep would be nice but probably wouldn't be affordable for normal day to day people. Not saying it's not justified, considering artists work hard, just saying there's probably no use publishing one because only a select few people would be able to buy em

@@puppydogs68 Ah, if you watch the video, it explains these kinds of special books began as eBooks before the company realized it was more profitable to sell physical copies of them, so they’d _only sell them in a 3-in-1 book_ (3 stories in 1 book). If you have a physical copy of a special like _Mapleshade’s Vengeance_ and it’s _only_ the one story (without two others to pair with it), then it’s not official. So technically speaking, they _are_ officially _published_ by HarperCollins; they’re just not officially _printed,_ because it’s supposed to be physically printed with 2 other stories _only,_ and unofficial copies don’t follow that rule. Hope that helps~
A funny fun fact: Germany is one of the countries that has a lot of translated books from the warriors series. We don't have books that combine 3 Novellas into one book. We only have the Novellas separated if you buy them physically. Whch I think (now knowing that's not as easy for you guys to get) is pretty neat but likely also more expensive lmao- Edit: Also the artist that popped up in the stolen colouring book a lot looks VERY much like river spirit :,) poor her her art always gets stolen so often in this fandom-

I actually have one of these coloring books. I got one as a gift for Christmas when i was OBSESSED with the books. I skimmed through and yeah its mainly the same art in your book. But I didn't see those funky backgrounds like in yours. Now having more knowledge I feel terrible for the artists who were stolen from. And that thing wasn't cheap it was around 30 dollars

For us the novellas were released separately, with a new cover for it and everything (and translated to dutch of course) So i was really surprised to hear they were never officially released like that! You learn something new everyday 😆
The Dutch versions of the warrior cat books actually have non-bootleg novellas. Since I know so little about the English releases I didn’t even know these books were not released seperately from eachother originally. These books used to be exclusive to one bookstore but I am not sure if they ar anymore since I haven’t bought any of the books in a while.
Unfortunate they're selling Riverspirit's art in some cheap coloring book. Like even if it's their older art it's still their work and i sure wouldn't want to have my art be sold for profit without permission.
i agree, the novellas grouped together arent around the same time in the books, so if i want to read Mothwing's secret, i also have to read about Tree and Pebbleshine, who i havent read about yet because i am only on the power of three.
I have a version of Firestar's Quest where the printing is completely messed up. Basically once you're done reading one page and go to the next, it starts the page by SKIPPING AN ENTIRE PARAGRAPH OR 2 that's supposed to be in the original. It does this for the entire book, so it's horribly disjointed and has some blank pages on the back left over due to this.
I was waiting for a video like this, it was very entertaining! Though I would pay a lot to see some abominable bootleg WC book, that is it's own story (you know, like those Chinese Harry Potter knock-offs). Or some knock-off WC-like franchise in general. Imagine all the memes and crossovers we could make.
I think i might have gotten a bootleg warriors book. I'm not sure, but i got it at a used bookstore and compared to the other books the words are much bigger. some words also didn't print the best- so i think i got a bootleg copy from a used book store unknowingly.

The novella’s are actually published separately here in the Netherlands! They’re called mini editions over here, and are small little books, a bit smaller than a paperback
I actually have a lot of dreams about Warriors bootlegs, for some reason! I'll be at a used bookstore when I'll come across a book I don't recognize. The cover will be totally unique and the text is filled with typos. Some are reprints of existing Warriors books and some are like, fanfiction? Future releases? Who knows.

My aunt unknowingly brought me one of these warrior cats coloring books 😂 the book looked almost the same with just a bunch of fan artwork. I might still have it in my room or smth. But it’s just horrible that there are people out there who are stealing other fans artwork to sell books.
My mother got me one of those coloring books for christmas. I was very grateful, but for one, I don't like coloring books, and two.. yeah, stolen art. I told her I didn't really want it and she was okay with that. Sucks to see people art being stolen for coloring books. I'd hate it if I wasn't asked, too.

They started doing them together too. This year they released the novella from Goosefeather, Pinestar and Thunderstar together into one book
