My sweetie Swedish neighbour James has written this book: "Earth Boy: Orphan of the Stars (Book One of the Atean Chronicles)" by J C Mansell. James and his family own the black and white cat which you often see on my Instagram feed! :-) And you can learn more about our Danish carnival traditions in my video here th-cam.com/video/JIxSjEDBYkg/w-d-xo.html
I will tell my bestie about this book. Her girls grew up loving Harry Potter and she herself, loves the SciFi types of genre. James does look very kind:)
I love it when you talk about doing morning routines and evening routines, cause I'm trying to catch up with my routines too. Also I'm glad that your family helps with the cooking and cleaning, cause I wish my daughter could do the same even though she can try.
Just love your rah, rah. I missed you when you were gone. When you are not on, getting caught up on ALL your videos. Much love to you and your family. DIDI from California.
Pretty and cozy sweater! We are deep in snow here, but I did clomp out to the garden shed to take stock of my garden supplies. We were grateful to have an organized pantry, since the passes were all blocked by avalanches and the food trucks could not come in to supply the stores.P.S. Cleared out some paper and put the book shipping room in order. Alan sells online. He vacuumed and dusted as well. Hurrah! Our garage in finally in good order for the spring. Wind Chill will at least be thirty five degrees below zero Fahrenheit tonight, so we are in!
On your recommendation, I borrowed my first Jeeves book from the library a couple weeks ago. I must say, the stories are delightful! They are just the right length for a little break in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea. I will definitely be back at the library for more!
I posted it instagram that I found your book on Amazon and hubby got it for me for a present and loved it!!! Tagged you but do not know if you saw it. What a lovely surprise. You should write more!😍🌟 My DS19 is cooking for us tonite the korean beef.
💕 your lovely yellow sweater! It is a good color on you. Thanks for the reminder not to give up on your kids cooking dinner. I'm going to see whether my DS17 will help me this weekend. Happy Carnival!
You have some similar taste in reading to me. When out for a walk/ jog I like to listen to an audiobook. There is a free book app. It's just called audiobooks and has a picture of headphones. Anyway there are classic books including some PG Wodehouse with Bertie and Jeeves. I also listen to audiobooks when doing jobs like sorting clothes and cooking. Hope you are having a good half term week.
I menu plan over the weekend and I also make sure I have alternatives since we live in the country and it’s a 20 mile trip to get carry out once we’re home for the evening. It’s Mario Gras time here (south Mississippi/Louisiana)and “king cake season” so it was neat to see the Danish rolls for carnival. I love seeing all the different ways we celebrate our common holidays.
It is so refreshing to hear you say how your kids love to cook and will help with dinner during the week. It will be a relief when our kids go out into the world and start their own families knowing how to prepare a meal. Yesterday was St. Valentine's Day
Great, thank you very much. I might get the Atomic Habits as an audiobook. I love the Readers' Digest in large print... and so do my little munchkins so it's my current reading.
I just decluttered my cookbooks a few days ago and my DD19 is also feeling like cooking more often these days! We planned an entire weeks worth of meals and only needed 2 things at the store (fresh veggies!) . Love your videos!!!
I can´t believe it, Diane - again something we have in common. I am just enjoying the audio-book-version of "Atomic habits" and love it. You really are one of my virtual besties ;) Have a happy time up there in Kopenhagen - greetings from the Tyrol still covered in lots of snow.
Awww Diane it’s so lovely to see you! You really do make my day! I plan my meals at the weekend.... it’s just easier. Have a lovely weekend. Mine are on half term next week! Might be making cookies!!! 😘😘😘
So Happy your back and I bear with you ... I love your yellow ... and your so pretty . Today is 15 Feb 2019 . Did you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day ... I enjoy my day . And now very happy watching you. Enjoy your day ...
Diane - Since your family are enjoying Asian cooking, have you watched any videos from this woman? They are beautiful, zen-like and delicious all at the same time. Here is one celebrating the Chinese New Year: th-cam.com/video/6SQ2cDgaQeU/w-d-xo.html
Will look out for your neighbour's book. I have just finished reading The Light between Oceans by M L Stedman - it's her first novel and I really couldn't put it down. Lorna
Lovely video. Try the Tasty app easy recipes and has a short video how to prepare. Helps me with my menu planning. Enjoy your weekend. Thank you for being our cheerleader.
Love getting suggestions for recipes and recipe websites and I'm going to check out BBC Good Food. I would encourage you to check out the Canadian Living website. Whenever I am looking for a good recipe, I search their site and usually find what I am looking for and always like the result.
Soooo, Diane, I'm just curious so you can certainly choose not to answer this question. With all your dare devil activities, what does your husban and kids do for excercize or entertainment?
I love your yellow sweater. It looks like Springtime!
