I am Turkish, this movie impressed me a lot. I talked to many of my history teachers. Some of them told me that she is a Turkish princess. Even though this kind of love has decreased nowadays, it rarely really impressed me. I listen to their songs with admiration anyway since high school (sorry for my bad English) I take my hat off to all soldiers, their love is very different, perfect they have love. Her first husband, married for the 2nd time after 17 years of their marriage, she was 32 at that time (15+17) year 1948. After this she moved to France to live with her mother, Later in Operation Polo Indian Govt annexed Hyderabad. So, the princess decides not to return to Hyderbad. And she gets divorced after 4 years 1952 (her age 32+4 =36).
She married pope jr in 1963 after 11 years from her divorce (when she was 47 and he was 44). She died in 1989 (aged 73)
