使わなくなった着物達を、ショーやイベント、ちょっとしたフォーマルドレスなどに蘇らせる薬真寺紀子さんにお話ししてもらいました。
ほつった着物から型紙を起こす従来の着物リメイクから、更に、無駄をなくすように、一旦の着物から、ドレスに形づくり、
将来的に、また更に、ほつって違うドレスに変える事も可能という徹底ぶり。
また、こういった着物ドレスによるファッションショーや、着物を着た人達によるお寺のイベントなども企画、開催し、
「着て楽しむ場所づくり」にも一躍かって、伝統やコミュニティの継承にも力をいれています。
なかなか出会えなかった、美や人生を楽しむ事を教えてくれる女神様。

500,000 tons of Japanese kimonos are discarded every year.
We spoke to Noriko Yakushinji, who revives kimonos that are no longer in use for shows, events, and casual formal dresses.
In addition to traditional kimono remakes where patterns are created from frayed kimonos, she also create dresses from kimonos to eliminate waste.
It is so thorough that in the future, it is even possible to unravel it and change it into a different dress.
She also plan and hold fashion shows featuring these kimono dresses and temple events featuring people wearing kimono.
She are also focusing on creating a place where people can wear and have fun, and we are also putting effort into passing on traditions and communities.
