- This is a great location which I haven't done for a long time, but one thing I noticed was the road is a lot busier than the last time I was there.
Some of the footage I had to scrap as the camcorder decided to fail for a very short time, I was planning to do more filming but there was a long delay on two trains coming from Felixstowe so I went home.
Filmed before the cold spell came.
A fantastic local vantage point. Interesting video
A great place, but not so good now with the traffic on the bridge.
Nice place for the freight trains Mike. Excellent video you got there. Cheers - Allan. 👍👍
Many thanks Allan for watching, yes its a good location but the road traffic has increased since the last time I was there. ATB Mike.
Another great location.
Looks like the ideal place to see the comings and goings at Hams Hall
Yes it is a good place but its also a dangerous place for filming mate when trains leave Hams Hall.
Great footage Mike of the slow moving freights snaking through the junction at this busy location, enjoyed that.Cheers Dave👍🏻
Thank you Dave, wish I could have filmed more but it wasn't to be that afternoon.
Have a good week Mike.
Thanks for posting this Mike, nice video, long time since I've been there. Well done 🤓
Pleased you enjoyed this video Tony, as I said in the video the traffic has increased a lot since I was last there, regards Mike.
Super shots amd location.👍
Thanks a ton David, your comment is well appreciated, Mike.
Thank you Mike, that video has cheered me up on such a cold day.
The clarity & sounds are superb.
This is one of my favourite locations to watch your videos. Always a joy to watch! Thank you.
Great to read your very kind comment Andy, I can't remember the last time I filmed from that bridge where you need stepladders.
Hope the next video I upload will do the same as this one did for you.
I better get one sorted out for Sunday.
Take care regards Mike.
Smashing shots and captures Mike. Good action and variety there. Another gooden from you! Lovely to see 66727 and LE. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing!
Yes a good time was had Jamie, just bad luck the other stuff I was planning to film was so late.
Have a goodun Mike.
@antman09ful1 Yeah Mike that's good, ah that is a shame, typical these days! And you!
Great view from the bridge just a shame the road is so busy I always feel a bit nervous about being run over there but glad you made it mate
I do again with you Owain its not the safest place to do our hobby, but they say it is what it is.
Cheers mate for your input about this video.
Another good video Mike :)
Thanks again Simon for checking out my latest video.
Another good video and a nice location definitely, last time I was there a couple years ago, I seen that a few motorists treat that road like a race track as well.
Yes indeed James you are right with what you said in your comment, cheers Mike.
Great location and filming there Mike!
Thank you Andrew for checking out the video and location.
You're right Mike, it's a great location and you used the spot well. I've only done odd shots there because of the road traffic but the noise wasn't really apparent .... the 66's overwhelmed it lol.
I still maintain the benefits of a chord between the down slow and up Arley which would provide a through route to avoid the run rounds & reduce a lot of mileage such as 37800 yesterday........
Must write to Network Rail :LOL, Cheers, Brian.
Yes I remember the conversations about that junction with you, maybe the cost wouldn't be worth it.
Cheers Brian for your on this video, regards Mike.
@antman09ful1 be like taking a few pennies from the HS2 'black hole' especially when we hear that capacity is an issue.... off my soapbox, watching your vid reminded me of the continuous supply of coal we used to work into Hams Hall. 8F's mostly then pairs of Type 2 Sulzers......
Class 25s if I must lol.
Yes a great location Mike, and a very decent alternative to Water Orton if you feel like a change.Thank you for sharing Mike, take care and have a good weekend, Colin.
Well yes you are right Colin just down the line from WO.
I was out yesterday all day from 04.20 to 19.55 and was I glad to get home.
Blimey Mike, that was a long day.No chance of me doing that, we're currently enjoying a blizzard BRrrrrr !!!
Well I like to get the most out of my days Colin.
well done mike keep up the good work
Thanks Josh I will do my best.
Good morning Mike what a brilliant spot thank you for another excellent video
Hi Steven you are very welcome, I'm pleased you enjoyed my afternoon short visit there, and the next video is ok for you, cheers Mike.
Another great video, i was planning to go out this week to film some trains at my local station but been unwell which was annoying!
Sorry to read you wasn’t well enough to venture out to enjoy your hobby, but thank you for your interest in my latest upload.
Very good video, well done.
Thank you very much Neal.
Well a shame but you still did well! As for the location yes, absolutely fabulous spot there Mike, great to see 66001 the doyen of the class looking very smart. Take care at weekend and stay warm, horrible storm coming in. As always enjoyed, cheers Nick.
Oh yes I am keep warm Nick, don't think the weekend storm will affect my area to much.
At this location I was using one of my older cams as I think its slightly better in dull weather and night filming, but it was a shame it decided to fail with a train coming out of Hams Hall.
Until next time Nick and its my turn to say you watch them storms up your way Mike.
@@antman09ful1Cheers Mike.
