Thanks Ralph for this latest video. I’ve been incorporating a lot of your tips into my running for the last two years, 58 now and still hitting PRs simply by not over-training, having a lot of patience and following your good advice.
My adages: (1) Don't start off too fast (2) find a maintainable pace based on how you feel that day and the conditions of the course - this can vary during a race, but find it! (3) listen to you quads when going up or downhill - if they are unhappy then you are going too fast and (4) don't depend on your thirst at any age, drink on a schedule with more per hour based on the temperature and course difficulty.
I have just discovered you're channel and love the content I started using you're run walk training yesterday I am a long term runner but have Ben recovering from a life threatening illness.thankyou.
Welcome, Paul! I’m glad you discovered me! Using Jeff Galloway’s run walk run method is a great way to run, especially if you’re coming back from an illness. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

One of mine is; train the way you race.
That's a good one! Thanks for sharing!

Just hope it’s not the bad wind a breakin’ 😂
😅 Yes!
Do you use run/walk method only in races or also during training sessions/runs?
Both. Whether I'm training or doing a race, I use RWR. Thanks for watching the video and commenting!
