depends on the age and model. newer models are better in my opinion new 430 luffer is awsome to drive and brilliant crane with a big cabin. but for example old 181 with long flat top jib is crap really and hard to control on the slew specially in windy weather . 331 - still ok but not as good to control as german cranes ;) it depends on the model of comedil really i found luffers are better to controll 4me then saddles if we takling about comedils. I am rather fan of wolffs and liebherrs. currently im am driving favelle favco 50tonne and i think that one is one of the best cranes along with liebherrs and wolffs. dont get me wrong i have been driving loads of comedils they are not a bad cranes but not the best to drive anyway. Thats only my opinion - from crane operators point of view.
Nice video, I apologise in advance for my rant, that said shame about the 💩 Comedil Crane. No back knoch, and stupid automatic breaks, bent windscreen to give you a nice headache, what were the engineers thinking when they put the ladder on the a circumference! really you have to climb through that every day, even when pointer in the wrong direction to the ladderI don't think they get to shit about the driver/operator. Sorry had to vent that. I like my WOLFFKRAN 😂
This video is rely nice... But the TEREX cranes cabin needs a lot of work regarding back glass doors, n space the seat actualy spins around to get out of there not only this model all cabs are the same luffer/saddle etc TEREX cabin are no good need space and privacy for the driver to do they things
Who drives a crane ? Do you mean operate? I’ve been a operator over 33 yrs but never drove a tower or any other pic of iron but operated everything from a pc1000 exv to a tower you must not be a union operator?
Ok nice video! But here is some tips, you audio have been muted due to copyright, so use music from NCS, its not crane "driving" because it does not have wheels and that your not driving it on a road ( for example the M25
