I like Mahmood, Sangiovanni, BigMama and Santi Francesi. I don't like Mahmood's song's parts with the chanting, but I love the rest so much that I can almost overlook that.
You're probably the ESC youtuber that I prefer to watch and yet the one that I usually disagree the most with in terms of rankings 😅🤣 I kinda like your top 5 though. I would put Annalisa there for sure, though. In first or second place.
Roy, Annalise and Diodato will grow on you and end up higher in your estimation. And even Richie E Poveri will increase in it’s likability once you get over the ageism of having older singers. Need to be aware of unconscious biases.
My Top 10: 1. Annalisa 2. Mahmood 3. Clara 4. Angelina 5. Irama 6. Mr Rain 7. Santi Francesi 8. The Kolors 9. Fred DP 10. Alfa We differ massively on Rose Villain tho Roy, the chorus took me from loving it to being just good sadly because i personally didn’t feel it meshed well together… I echo your thoughts on this being such a quality SanRemo year across the board👏 Only 5 songs i’d skip on the playlist and like yourself Loredana is one of them. I would be worried for Italy if Geolier ends up winning mainly due to the South voting. The song is just solid but for Eurovision i think this would bring an end to their minimum Top 10 finishes🤷♂️
It's crazy to me that people don't like Annalisa's song (or at least rate it that low). It's an instant hit, she's all over the charts and not only in Italy. I'm so happy she's finally getting the recognition she deserves.
I wanna thank you for bringing Click Boom to my attention! Her performance was out of this world. But... I hate to say it, the "click boom boom" part ruins the song for me. I am trying, but it just doesn't fit. It doesn't fit the journey the song takes us on, and it ruins the emotion and takes me out of the song. Imagine if the song was the exact same, but it had a great payoff for these "choruses", maybe something just instrumental, a dramatic release... The rest of the song is SO GOOD and her performance really had layers and conveys emotions, it grabs me and takes me on am emotional journey... All to just stop in the middle in a silly break that no one asked for. I feel like it's such a missed opportunity. It could be the best performance of the year.
My top: 1. Annalisa 2. Irama 3. Angelina Mango 4. Mahmood 5. Il Volo Guilty plessure: Alfa If the winner is not Annalisa I will be very disappointed with Italy.
I feel like Mahmood gets marked down because he already went to Eurovision twice, but... Let's not kid ourselves, he has the best song by so much it's not even close. He has no right being this awesome, how can he have so many AMAZING songs that are so distinct and unique from one another and from everyone else. It's insane. I feel like Angelina's song is... Too much. There is too much going on, and it doesn't all mesh well together. It feels like it needed some more iterations until it reaches a smoother final version. And her voice in the final bit is really grating on the ears, not sure if she's just off-key or it's just a really ugly part in her range. I would rather send one of the cleaner upbeat songs, like Annalisa. Or reward Irama's passion. It's funny, Annalisa's song also has different parts, but I feel like they all flow very well and they make sense, whilst Angelina's don't flow as well and don't make sense sometimes, it feels like changing for the sake of changing. In the end, Italy will be well represented with Angelina or Annalisa, also with Irama, Mahmood and like 5 or 10 others, because holy moly is it a good year!
Not surprised you like Santi Francesi too, i think they could win if it was up to me. Personally i dont see any songs that are way better, only equal... But newcomers never win. Not the strongest year overall imo. And Mahmoods song is overrated
1. Annalisa
2. Mahmood
3. Angelina Mango
Sinceramente is the best Italian entry since Zitti e buoni.

That's the beauty of music and Eurovision, everyone has a different taste and there is something for everyone to listen! And I think it's wonderful!

I totally get why people wouldn't be able to get into Click Boom! it took me a second listen as well! Great ranking btw!
Hi Roy, what happened to Esc United?
It's crazy to me that people don't like Annalisa's song (or at least rate it that low).
It's an instant hit, she's all over the charts and not only in Italy. I'm so happy she's finally getting the recognition she deserves.
Well I like the song a lot, I just love so many more..
It's awful

Mahmood always has worst songs lol
Teddybear costunes are sooo PZE 🇷🇸 2022😅
‘La Noia’ leaves me cold, I feel nothing. I neither like it nor hate it.
Have you seen it? Or just listened to audio? It works for me as a live on stage performance.
@@eurofansf Yes, I’ve watched the full performance on the Rai TH-cam Channel.
