The news article I read about the event today was about Melania 'playing the grand Lady'. Not kidding. The other one was 'Harris was funny and Trump was angry about it'. They can only get away with this because many people are too lazy to actually watch the thing. And... they depend on the media doing their job on bringing the actual facts to the table and rely on it.

Yep, and exactly the opposite was the actual truth. Melania was fine, Schumer was a prune, as usual. Harris wasn't even close to funny, and has a terrible sense of humor. If you read the room, it was very easy to tell who liked Trump and who didn't, even if you weren't familiar with them. Harris with yet another bad decision not to attend. Totally terrible person, and a totally terrible campaign, run mostly by the media for her.

I can’t say for sure, but I highly highly doubt he wrote his own jokes (very normal). That’s beside the point though, his delivery of the jokes was so on point (which is much harder to do than people think).
