After owning a Camry I decided I deserved a Lexus. So I spent 6 months looking at used Es 350's. I couldn't find the right one and could not make a decision. Then I saw the LS460 and realized it was the car I'd wanted all along. After less than two months looking, bought a 2017 w 69,500 miles. It cost $36,500. Rear drive and no air suspension. Never owned a car so high quality and reminded you of that every minute driving it. I'm also very surprised at the occasional admiring looks I get in the car - (I know I didn't suddenly become good looking so it has to be the car).
I know the feeling we been through so many cars and always loved the Lexus brands but never knew it would be possible our last car was a 2010 Toyota Avalon limited and 2 weeks ago august 9th work was able to switch us to our 2008 Lexus LS460 and we absolutely love it and has all the books and even the original windows sticker from when it was first bought
Thanks for watching this in-depth review of the 2017 Lexus LS! What do you guys think about Lexus' flagship sedan? Do you think it's still worth the $80,000+ sticker price? Let us know in the comments below!
Car Confections No the G90 has basically all the same stuff and is $10k cheaper. The Equus does too and it was $20k cheaper. The BMW 7 series on the other hand is worth its sticker price. Most of these luxury brands need to step up their featurs like BMW did because Hyundai is making people question the sticker price of most of these brands cars. Also the Equus and G90 also had the air vents in the back in the same place as this cars. Hyundai basically cloned this Lexus.
Awesome review! I have a 2013 Lexus ES350 with only 36k miles which I bought in April 2019 for only $18k with 30,009 miles. Amazing car, build quality is remarkable. Best car I’ve ever owned! This LS is truly amazing. Only thing that would turn me away is premium gas. My ES 350 takes regular with the V6 and I’m averaging over 30 mpg on highway! I would never buy an LS 460 new, then again I would never buy any car new. Right now you can get a decent 2013 LS 460 for probably mid to upper 20 K depending on mileage and condition.
I love your reviews! Very detailed and smooth. I love your luxury car reviews but I have a question. Do you also review Mercedes Benz vehicles? I haven't seen a Mercedes Benz video on your playlist.
Thanks we appreciate that! We don't film Mercedes reviews currently, but we are in the process of expanding into a lot of new brands, and hopefully Mercedes will be one of them! Thanks again!
Great review, Car Confections! I believe the LS is a good entry in the large luxury sedan class. Saying it is a great entry, though, is definitely stretching it. It is a strong player in certain areas (reliability, space, comparable luxury amenities, etc.) while, in other areas it's is definitely showing its age (sunroof, gauge cluster, styling from certain angles, etc.)! Thanks for the awesome review! Keep up the great work! -DriveAndBeDriven "The Quest To Record The Best!"
Fantastic car review! I’m thinking about making one of these mine one day. I wish I knew the name of the song playing at 13:43 when the sound system was mentioned.
When mentioning the spot where the ashtray seemingly should be... My ‘08 460 L indeed has a proper ashtray in that space In Michigan...we use it to smoke blunts! Lol
It could use another inch or two of front legroom for the driver. I think the L version has more seat travel for the driver (or at least it seemed that way when I sat in both). Toyota and Lexus are always cheap with legroom in front. Hyundai has more, so does Mercedes.
The 2017 shown didn't have the air suspension option which the 2013 does. I deliberately avoided used cars with the air suspension installed due to the large numbers of used LS's with air suspension issues.
I don't get why Lexus keep using those Glossy Clear Coat on Wood. It really shines and can't see the beautiful WOOD Color... I understand for protection but well
Im glad they got rid of that V8 in the new 2018! V8s are WAY too overpowered for a sedan. But I wish they had kept the original touchscreen that was present at the beginning of the 4th gen. Also, stay away from a black interior if it gets very hot where you live!

Nobody really needs all of this stuff. You can get plenty of stuff with even a Kia Cadenza limited. And it still has a touchscreen.

Sacre bleu! 😝
I have a 2007 and will be taking delivery of a 2017 next week. First year and last year - great cars...
How's that 2007 so far????
@@mercedesbenzs600bash It was great but I traded it in for a 2017 with very low miles and she is sweeter still!
I had the 2007 but traded it in for a 2014 and it’s much better.
@@noelsaw Yep the 2017 is a bit better, I am totally enjoying it. Going to get a LS500 in a few years
@@WysteriaGuitarwe recently got an 08 LS460 traded/switched from our 2010 Toyota Avalon for our LS460 and we absolutely love it
Awesome review man. Im thinking about getting the f sport this weekend
So, spill it buddy! You got her or nah
Lol, if you cant get comfortable in Lexus seats than something is wrong with you🤣😊😂😂 that was funny! This was a amazing detailed review!
This was an absolutely SUPERB review. Very nicely done. Thank you.
This is a truly classy vehicle.

"The Quest To Record The Best!"
Don't forget that it does not have the the new and bold spindle grill. It getting a redesign for 2018.
Fantastic car review! I’m thinking about making one of these mine one day. I wish I knew the name of the song playing at 13:43 when the sound system was mentioned.
If anyone is wondering, the song is called Unity by Kevin MacLeod. I found it with Shazam.
Thanks for the upload

@Chad Wilkins
And you’re a pin dick
Maybe Lexus should make an LS - Michigan Edition that comes with extra cabin ventilation, larger fans and Reggae playing on the Mark Levinson system
Yes indeed !
A very informative video. And it includes a free plug for Molly Maids.🇨🇦
Very great TH-cam video wow 🤩 I love this car

Kill that intro, nice review
Does it have heads up display?
the 2017 LS, does not have a HUD.
Sorry, the multifunction display is what now?
The panoramic sunroof comes standered on the 2018 ls

How could this 35.8'' legroom looks larger than LX570's 36'' and Q7's 38.8''?
