You're incredibly resilient. You've turned out intelligent, beautiful, and above all, a survivor. Thank you for sharing your story & for being a beacon of hope for those struggling.
Well done, Alison, for shining a light into the dark corners of the lacking of foster care that needs to be exposed to protect children. Thank you for your efforts. ❤️ (Hope you've been able to figure out the sound difficulties! xo )
My sweet dear Tina... I am so proud of you! You have walked through that door ... the door that opens another door... and those doors are full of people needing to witness what it takes to bring the darkness into the light where everybody can see. This is the year of reveal.. Everything happens for a reason and we both know that our meeting was meant to BE. Love to you my dear sweet soul sister... I will share far and wide to help others find you. Blessings xoxoxoxo
Thank you for the video Tina you are very brave I was sexually abused on many occasions by my grandad from the age of 6 I did tell my parents they rang the police and I remember being examined on the kitchen table by a policewoman then my Grandad was arrested and sent to prison for 4 years I remember my dad telling me I had a big mouth for telling on my grandad I'm bringing trouble and the police to the door I'm 51 now and it has ruined my whole life!
Tina thank you for bravely telling your truth. There will be many who will identify with you hearing this, they will not comment here but you will have helped them. I agree with your belief that having walked in those shoes you would be brilliant at connecting with & helping struggling teens, as someone who is a qualified helper I could never make the difference you could. Please consider getting that qualification, people like you who arrive later to college but have passion for making a difference because of their own life experiences are ofter top of the class!
It's an absolute disgrace they won't let you volunteer to help kids from any background but especially those who are going through the horrific things you had to deal with. I can understand the authorities wanting people who have been "vetted', to prevent any further abuse of children but you would be an asset to the system and anyone who cant recognize that is a complete spanner.
Well done Tina..!!......beautiful, intelligent, and strong it wasn’t your fault there are evil people in this world .....all the best for the future you are a great woman and deserve the best...
Survivors of sexual abuse are experts in sexual abuse counselling but they are not accepted by the government who hire people to study the abuse and appoint them as the experts instead of listening to the victims who have first hand experience, what personal experiences have the doctors and the counsellors? I am a survivor and I am an expert, I know exactly what a victim is going through and I know exactly how I can help them overcome the effects of the abuse and help them to accept it, deal with it and then learn to live with it because remember that the aftermath of the abuse NEVER GOES AWAY
Totally agree with you , they think all the info is on their laptop, and anyone needing their help is less than they are or even stupid . I actually had a call from a counsellor I had seen a few times , begging me to come back because she missed me , how bloody sick is that ? Now I am healed and happy enough to see who the stupid ones are .
I think all Sandy was meaning was that if you put the interviewee sound up the interviewer sound is deafening - if you put the interviewer sound at the right level the interviewee sound is nearly silent! Headphones make it worse! It's just a shame as it detracts from interviews which are so important and need to be heard! From a victim of rape and sexual abuse, with much love Leonora x

Poor women 😔
You need to higher the volume on the person's being interviewed
Thanks, you can also hire it up from your pc too, or use headphones 🎧

God please shine the light on dhs stop letting them cover thier ass. Give the children some hope and protection. Dhs need to pay for thier corruption.
alas, the difference in audio volume between tina's voice and the narrator's voice makes this difficult to listen to.
Maybe Tina could set up a non profit for foster kids to help them.
Sorry i love the irish
Did he leave seman inside you
