Sam and Tara are dead in scream 7 (Supposedly)

- So supposedly, Sam and Tara will not return for scream 7 and instead of not focusing on them for this 7th film, they are gonna die by getting run over by a taxi. This is so stupid and I really don’t like this, scream 7 isn’t gonna be part of my canon and they are still gonna be alive and kicking over on the mainland. If Tara does die then Boris will become the Dromeosaur equivalent of the last Ronin.
I got all of this info from a twitter post I found on a community post by madison (mikey's version) who mange to find this by someone who posted it on TikTok. Now this is all supposed, rumored and not backed up by a lot of proof aside from a found twitter post, but I made it sound like this was factual when I had very little proof. I’m not sure what role these two will play in this film but ether way I ain’t watching.
The post says this, “Sam and Tara will be killed off-screen in SCREAM 7, according to Spyglass CEO Gary Barber. "We might put body doubles in those black and pink jackets and have them get run over by a taxi or something" he told.” - บันเทิง
Sounds like a stupid rumor, that holds 0 water. I don't believe they will be killed off screen, let alone in such a stupid way, lol. Spyglass has pretty much pissed off the majority of the fan base with how they treated Neve with Scream 6, and now how they treated Melissa. It would be a stupid business move to do something to piss off the fans even more at this point, when they are clearly trying to save face by paying Neve her worth, and even bringing Kevin Williamson on board to direct. I'm 41 and have been a huge fan of Scream since 96, and I love Sidney and the original characters, as well as Sam and Tara. If we're going to be adults about what's happening with Scream 7, we should remember it's okay to support the actors and filmmakers who DO care about Scream, and ALSO call out the bad like what happened to Melissa. I'm excited to see what the people I care about do with Scream 7, but Gary Barber can go get run over by a taxi for all I care, lol. All that said though, this sounds like a VERY weak rumor, it's not even worth giving the time of day to. I also don't think Neve would have signed on if that was the case.

This sounds like a very weak rumor that holds no water. Don't believe a Twitter rumor, lol. Spyglass is trying to save face by getting Neve back on board, they wouldn't do something EXTRA, especially now, to needlessly piss off the fans further.

Yeah it had something to do with the current Israel and Palestinian war where Sam’s actress saying something about it that got her fired from it and then after that Tara’s actress quit after so so in order to save the 7th movie they brought Sidney back.

I called this during scream 5 ...I thought one would die in 6... but I was wishing their characters died because the story was no longer scream in my eyes, the story was now stab, and scream 6 should have just been stab 2.... or they should have just called it Ghostface because it had nothing to do with scream it was a spin-off. I know my opinion is very unpopular but I did not like the Samantha and Tara spinoff. Now it's back to business but without Dewey
It ain’t about Tara and Sam. It never was. They were a bridge. In the end, it was always about Sidney. The core four was basically a filler.
Be stoked about Scream 7 being in great hands, couldn’t possibly be better news.

That's a cop out. Sure originally the story didn't involve Sam and Tara but the plot had to evolve some way without it being stale and repetitive. Both Sam and Tara added a breath of fresh air to the franchise. I'm sad that they won't be in Scream 7 I barely want to see it but I will see it to support Neve and Kevin Williamson. Let's not forget the connective tissue for Sam is Billy Loomis since that's his daughter and he dated Sydney but I'll leave it alone
Its repetetive getting the same movie over and over even though Sidney is a big character its very unrealistic having her be the target again in a franchise that is pretty grounded. There is only so much you can do with Sidney as a character you have to move on at some point.
Im EXCITED for Scream 7. The only characters I care for are Sidney and Gale - but Mark and Kirby would be fun additions too

It is repetive to have the same character as the main character forever, its unrealistiv she will be the target for the seventh time , you can basically do so much with her before it gets too repetitive

I'm so unconcerned with Sam and Tara lol. I like Melissa Barerra and Jenna Ortega as actresses, but I don't feel anything for them in the way I felt for Sidney, Dewey, Gale Randy, Tatum etc. I'm glad Neve is coming back and that's really my only emotion. But killing the sisters off screen would be kinda lame.

my guess is that the ghostface will start killing again but gales alone so sidney comes to help her and the gale tells her that tara and sam moved to a different country so they will not be on screen and the movie will be about gale and sidney

Why do consider koba still alive? He has one of most well executed villains deaths in cinema why would you want to ruin that?

Man spyglass is entirely ruining this franchise. Man after scream 6 's success how can someone screw the sequel up so bad I can't even understand. It's cool that neve is coming back hope so they bring a good storyline but this taxi stuff is pure garbage.
