I work at waitrose and there have been £70 turkeys come through my checkout, the must expensive piece of meat was a beef fillet which was £103!!!! I legit was so shook

It was only me and my mum on Christmas Day so we brought a turkey crown for £14 and it served 5-7 people but definitely don’t need to spend so much on a turkey!

25 is alot for 2 people and a young child, especially if you're not rich. I paid 3.50 for our meat and that easily done 2 adults and 2 children
