the best agent story quest in zzz so far, imo. and MIRACULOUSLY fire writing!!! one of my favorite parts was when he says he doesn't forgive his master exactly, but rather it's moreso acceptance. i like that. and how he says he accepts all life has to offer, whether it's good or bad or pain or joy. it reminds me of stoic philosophy, tbh, which i follow bits and parts of. life happens. good and bad. what matters is how you respond to situations, not the situation itself, and to focus on what you can control, instead of what's out of your control. and also when miyabi said she doesn't see him differently which is why she's among my favorites and also when harumasa said how sometimes it's annoying when other people say to "stay strong" or "keep going" over and over because honestly i can see why. i feel like it could be relieving at times for someone to simply acknowledge how you're tired of life and tired of everything, but still help you come to your own conclusion on if you want to live and what really matters to you, personally, instead of trite self-help phrases that anyone could say with no personal depth and ofc the moral stuff, like when the master said "I can't trade this real, immediate suffering in front of me for some distant, uncertain possibility." that scene made me cry... the master's words were so touching and well-written....
Harumasa has one of the most Honkai-ish backstories in the game aside from maybe Miyabi. Reminds me of how Cecilia had pitied Sirin. I have a theory that the Hollows are some form of Honkai and that the devs simply wanted to make a new game out of it.
