Sir I study in class 11. But when I read a topic Friction in Force and Newtons Laws of Motion, I came across a question:- What is the direction of friction while a man is walking on a road? I am also confused by different answer from different sources . Although I couldn't get satisfactory conclusion to the question. I wil be very very Thankful to you if you answer to my question.
What's Friction? It's simply the force exerted between two surfaces to resist or oppose the relative motion between them given that they are in contact,so it's direction is always opposite to the motion happening between the two surfaces.

Sir focal length of convex lens always increase as mentioned in many books but if we dip lens in a liquid of more refractive index then convex will behave as concave then it should come negative but still increases how ???? It's a great pleasure of u answer it 🙏🏻
Look at the blackboard the second formula written by HC Verma sir is called lens maker formula if you put the value of relative refractive index (refractive index of the glass with respect to the liquid you have dipped the lens in) and R1 and R2 correctly then you will find out that the f comes out to be a negative number and thus it works as concave lens

Direction is always opposite of friction broh
